Exceptionally clean. Polite and friendly staff. We only had breakfast here. Likely one of the best bacon sandwiches I've ever had with the bonus of them adding in a slice of black pudding at my request, french toast the second morning which was also excellent.

Really enjoyed our day here for 3 nights. Staff were fantastic from the moment we arrived early. Food was great as was the bar! Def recommend staying here.

A cozy hotel right next to the train station in Stonehaven. Absolutely suitable for a one-night stopover during a trip. There is a large pub on the ground floor, but its customers did not disturb the atmosphere in the room.
The rooms are small, there is no place to spread out large luggage, but it is enough for a one-night stay.
The shared toilets and showers (only on the second floor) are spacious and pretty clean.
The breakfast served in a pleasant environment was very tasty and there was an opportunity to choose from a rich breakfast menu.
Overall, the good impression was enhanced by the friendly staff, so everything was OK for me.
- the rooms are only on the first and second floors and they do not even have a small elevator, so if you have heavy luggage, you will struggle when you have to carry it up the stairs
- if someone comes here for the first time, it is more difficult to find the entrance to the reception (around the corner off the main street), because it is not well marked. I entered the pub through the service entrance because at first glance I didn't see any other.

Took brother and sis-in-law with SWMBO for evening meal. Really good, fairly priced. Brother lives in Jannerland and he was well impressed by the steak pie. I had pan fried chicken, also delicious and plenty of it.

Superb Meals and First Class Super Service. Friendly Management and Staff attending to your every request and comfort with ease and a big smile along the way . Highly impressed and recommended for a repeat visit very soon indeed. Best Run and Cleanest Restaurant and Bars in the Area by a Country Mile.

Had a really nice lunch in the dining room with family! Service excellent, food amazing, my favourite dish is the fish, just melts in the mouth and the homemade tartar sauce is lovely!

We visited the restaurant while on holiday. The food and service were fantastic. Everything we ordered was hot and cooked to perfection. We will definitely visit again when we return.
Nearby activities: The best activity nearby is Dunnottar Castle. The view of the harbour in Stonehaven is quite lovely too.
Walkability: It is easy to walk anywhere in Stonehaven. It is an absolute gem.
Food and drinks: Food & drinks were top notch
