Spacious isles and plenty of choices

Avoid the cafe, rubbish food at an extortionate price. Almost £15 for 2 very mediocre toasties, 2 drinks and a bowl of microwaved soup. Tragic. The fact that the only people in there on a Friday lunchtime were staff should have been a red flag

I was in your store today and I?d just like to say that the cashier called Antonio was brilliant. He was helpful, friendly and a credit to your store.

Have shopped here since its opening and have always been highly satisfied. However, recently there seems to be a problem with the fresh veg, many empty shelves and what's there is not always very fresh. Not sure what the problem is, but Tesco don't seem to have the same problem, think this needs sorting out.

After a very stressful Monday I nipped in to this Supermarket to get some bits and pieces, when leaving the store I dropped my bags (one of them containing tonic water in a glass bottle) Helen (Lady with pink hair on checkouts) helped me repack my bags and her kind and friendly manner ensuring I was ok was very reassuring, it is nice to know there are still some human beings out there!

Nearby for a meeting so thought I'd pop in for a coffee and check my emails. The coffee shop is spacious with a variety of different seating arrangements. The cappuccino was lovely - the carrot cake even better.

I'm ashamed to admit that as a former Tesco girl, I just love Sainsburys. My house is just a little closer to Tesco than it is to Sainsburys and getting there if you're walking seems to be a bit of a mission in terms of making it there alive. (There's lots of really busy roads to cross.) But once I've made it I realise why I make the trek. I just love the shopping experience, I could easily spend an hour browsing. Damn you Sainsburys for making everything so appealing, my poor little student bank balance can't take the strain. Most importantly, the food at Sainburys is of a really high quality and so fresh. I find that it lasts a lot longer than when I buy from Tesco. I love their deli counter, especially the olives that are prepared daily. If you have a nectar card you can collect points and they even print little money off vouchers if you could have saved money on branded products in competing supermarkets. (I've had from £1 to 1p off my next shop...) Yes, it's a tad more expensive but I'm willing to pay a little more for a higher quality.

My closest supermarket! Pretty big after the extension.. Clean and tidy with helpful staff. Couple of gripes and that's a lack of choice especially on fresh produce and the parent and child parking places are very stupidly located, not convenient at all! Edit : Just tried the restaurant for the first time yesterday! Although expensive the service was great and we really enjoyed the views and food.. Toilets and baby change facility's were very clean! But floor of the restaurant could have done with a scrub!

This is one of two of the closest supermarkets to me, and the one we use mainly. (only cause the wee Tesco is grotty). I don't mind Saino's really, it's clean. The staff are helpful and they've got an array of strange stuff. What I have found however, is that some of the most basic things cannot be found. They don't have a huge selection of brands, maybe only two or three of one type of product.

This is the closest supermarket that is close to were i stay. it is like most sainsburys stores, expensive. the shelves tend to be empty sometimes and things are in the wrong places and have the wrong prices on them. the staff are great and are always willing to help you out. it has a cafe with good food and deals.
