A lovely interior environment, in a beautiful part of the city, on the road coming down from the castle.
The staff were friendly and kind. Everything we tried?the coffee, tea, and scones?was delicious. It's worth stopping by.

Lovely wee place to sit down for a relaxing cuppa or two and lunch.
I enjoyed an iced chai latte- one of the best ive had and a matcha latte, plus savoury crepes with spinach, feta and pesto. These were served with fresh and flavoursome home made coleslaw and tomato salad with herbs and accompanying dressing and youghurt and pesto.
Thanks for a really tasty treat and
friendly, attentive service!
I'll maybe try the high tea next time if visiting with company.

Pity the way they treat their staff in front of customers. Won't be back. Owners shouting at staff. Ridiculous

Absolute vile people. Hire 15 year old with no work experience and belittle her in front of other customers by talking about her in their own language. 2 hours of being bullied and belittled shame on you. Soon be another forgotten about coffee shop like the other 40 million in stirling. If you cant treat others with decency and respect you shouldn't be in business. Good luck still being open in a year.

If I were a mystery shopper, my job would be to evaluate an establishment from the moment I arrive. However, I wouldn't even be able to complete an evaluation of this coffee house because I wouldn't step inside.
The exterior is the first impression, and despite it being beautiful, inviting and in full bloom, the same cannot be said about the owners.
A key part of a mystery shopper role is to observe and report on the overall atmosphere and service, but a business needs to be inviting enough not just on the outside but on the inside too. Unfortunately, this coffeehouse fails at the very first hurdle.
This coffeehouse house advertises work experience as a valuable opportunity for young people, a stepping stone into the world of work. Yet, the reality is a stark contrast. Newcomers are not welcomed or properly trained. Instead, they are publicly humiliated, shouted and moaned at in front of paying customers, and discussed in a language they don't understand. This is a shocking way for a business in the heart of Stirling to treat the next generation of employees.
On a brighter note, I've heard the food is ok!

We had a wonderful afternoon tea with our family, great food and there was plenty of it. Good selection, the bread and scones stood out for me. Staff was very friendly and everything was served in a timely manner. The restaurant itself could have been a bit cleaner, though.

As we were walking down the street from our visit to the Sterling castle, I said that I would love vanilla ice cream with coffee on top, and this place appeared! Not only did they have vanilla ice cream coffee but in a huge glass! It was amazing, I recommend! We also had a warm scone but not with clotted cream unfortunately. But it was so good it made up for it.
This cozy coffee house has cute decorations, comfy couches (which is rare nowadays in cafes!), and great food.
Although you have to order at the counter, the kind staff makes up for it!
Lastly, as we were done with our food, some great jazz music started playing, adding to the cozy ambiance.
Go for a calm rest after a visit at the castle!

Excellent lunch, very tasty soup and sandwich. Fresh coleslaw was delicious. Tea pot which poured with out dripping, friendly staff and dog friendly made it an ideal cafe for a quick lunch.
