Having chosen Belvoir Stirling as agents to let our flat, they were happy to take the monthly "management fee", but did little to earn it. After making a formal complaint to them, which they failed to respond effectively to, I reported them to The Property Ombudsman (TPOS) who, after their investigation found entirely in our favour and awarded us £1200 in compensation for failing to comply with the letting agents Code of Practice, which they are legally obliged to follow, and gave them 28 days to pay. No surprise, but they failed to make the payment. TPOS then gave them a reminder and a further 3 days to comply, which they again failed to do. It was not until the 3rd reminder that they actually made payment. Throughout this process, Belvoir Stirling refused to engage in the TPOS investigation (their own regulatory body) and have refused to provide us with information & correspondence when instructed to do so by TPOS. They have treated the whole process, TPOS and ourselves with utter contempt. DO NOT USE THEM

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!!Absolute joke of a company, happy to take your money, but unresponsive and unhelpful when you ask for any correspondence to be forwarded. Promised emails never arrived which were asked for numerous times, excuses we're used for example saying that emails aren't coming through to us because they're situated up north in a rural area!! Excuse after excuse totally unprofessional!

Every 5 star review are clearly people that work for Belvoir using anonymous accounts.My partner and his flatmates had an awful experience with Belvoir.Extremely unresponsive to emails and phone calls, refused to deal with mould issues which not only affected my partner's bedroom but his personal belongings. His clothes began to virtually rot with mould.Similar to a previous experience, they decided to deduct money off of the flat's deposit from using incense in the flat TO COMBAT THE MOULDY SMELL THAT THEY REFUSED TO FIX.MAKE IT MAKE SENSE.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. no contact from landlord. Left us with no heating & electric so were forced to move out. Doors were faulty due to us moving in, got locked in and were forced to take door down (we put it back up). We left property clean, tidy and cleaned carpets to a higher standard to what they were received in! Instead of waiting for keys to be handed in n a couple of days they?d already changed the locks for inconvenience. These thieves are now trying to bill us for £750 worth of damage. Good luck getting that out of a pregnant woman. Disgusting service and communication.
