Staff consistently (over 5 times witnessed) rude, uninterested and an awful lot of them drinking cans of coke and irn bru while people waiting to be served. Made to feel that you are a nuisance for simply walking into your bank.

I live in Bridge of Allan, Stirlingshire. The village, having originally had four banks, now has no banks which have all closed - one of which was the Bank of Scotland, which I had banked with for around 40 years and whose personal service and help I valued.I wanted to move some ISA?s from another provider to the Bank of Scotland but wanted help doing this fearing if I made a mistake I could lose the ISA status of my money. I looked up the only ?local? branch in Stirling, hoping to make an appointment for help, only to find the phone call could only be taken by a central Bank of Scotland office. On calling the number provided, I was constantly directed to make transactions online. I phoned perhaps five times during the day and when finally I did get through on a couple of occasions and the phone rang, I was cut off. It is now impossible to talk to a human being as I have been able to in the past. I have been a loyal customer of this bank for over 40 years and detest the new ?greed? of the bank, who now provide no personal service because online is cheaper to run. I wonder how many non computer savy customers like me are seriously thinking of taking their custom and money out of the Bank of Scotland. Even if no actual bank is available, the three other banks I have my money in do provide a personal service and help over the phone. Absolutely disgusted!

I find it very frustrating that I can?t give you ?0 0 0 0? star rating so I?m left with only option which is to give you a 1. I visited yesterday 3-8-23 at around 4pm. Upon entering your newly refurbished futuristic space shuttle I was accosted by two young men who were chatting far too much between themselves. I write accosted because you?re basically treated like you?re a nuisance. Why on earth would you want to come to my bank approach. Your young girl with the Italian accent was entertaining, aimlessly and helplessly, a lady who?d obviously come in for a gander at your new state of the art ?customer hub?. Meanwhile I wasted 5-7 minutes, albeit I was first in a queue of 1 person, as your only teller was seemingly counselling and giving family guidance to the ?posh old boy? in front of me. When I was eventually served by the Italian sounding girl she did so with as much enthusiasm as she could muster, as though it was a rainy away Tuesday night at Stoke in November. She seemed uninterested in taking my cash to pay my credit card debt and even suggested I?d be better visiting another bank for this type of transaction. How silly of me to think that My Bank with who I?ve has a Mortgage since ?05 and with who I also have a Business Account and Personal accounts would want to help me to bank. I felt really silly, like a plonker my Grandad would have said. When I eventually wanted another matter dealt with, the unlocking of my Business Authenticator device, the hostile A Team at the front of the store did not disappoint. Again I think they were asking themselves why on earth I?d be interrupting their personal conversation. The online business banking had managed to order me 4-5 new pins, in the last ten days, for my card and I really needed help unblocking this card. It was actually the online business telephone banking team who told my to try a PIN number which wasn?t the correct one and ended up blocking my card for me, can you believe it? But there was just no spontaneous eagerness to help me. Your bank has become an utter mess. Fortunately I don?t have to visit often as it?s usually a horrible horrible experience. If you were a normal business like any other in Stirling you?d have closed down long long ago. You?re quite frankly disgusting.

Friendly, extremely helpful and informative staff in this branch, who really went the extra mile , and I wasn't even one of their customers. If I lived closer, I'd be opening an account here for sure. Thank you.

Shout out to ERIN of Bank of Scotland who helped two pretty desperate Londoners ..she was reassuring and 'sorted' us out quickly. Makes me think about leaving llyods as their service on this day was so unsatisfactory . Only reason I gave 1 star is 'cos I do not live in the area and use this bank.Thankyou BOS Stirling.

My 87 years mother went to branch yesterday with my sister to do some personal business when they entered the branch they were told by Manager my sister couldn't come in she is my mother's carer which explained to him he told her to get out, my mother and sister were very upset by this they felt he is bully. Is anyway way to treat your customers not. Remember the customers are keeping your Management and staff in job.

I appreciate its difficult times and all but service was shocking it was deserted but I had eyes rolled at me when I came in, asked if I could be helped as my mobile banking wasn't working I changed my password and all my details never even had a look but was told they changed my password and rushed me out I came home and nothing had changed but they didn't want to here about it not the first time I've had terrible service from Bank of scotland and not the only one my step father and mum have both switched from shocking customer service and I think I will be following.
