Went there for a mental health appointment, was told I wa just a fat depressed woman when I was having episodes of hallucinatiions, couldn't sleep, and had a lack of energy.0/5 if I could

Unhelpful reception and general unwillingness to help.Explanation of why: They won't let me use their facilities because I'm not registered here and they won't let me sign up as a temporary resident because I'm signed up somewhere else, even though I can't get the appointment I need at my GP because they don't offer the service I need in house, whereas this GP does, But this GP won't let me change to this GP, told me they don't take on people living on the other side of the Stirling bridge even though I know people who do live on the other side and come to see this GP. And they said they wouldn't let me register here because they need evidence I'm going to be here for a long time, which also isn't true: I am a resident here so I am allowed to register for this GP.

I thought maybe I'd just caught the receptionist on a bad day but reading these reviews it seems like they've been rude to a lot of people. When I called I felt completely dismissed and invalidated. Was cut off when explaining my issue and overall really unpleasant experience. Please, if you guys read these reviews and all these comments complaining about rude receptionists, it might be time to do something about it.

I was registered with this practice for 4 years through my undergraduate program. I was always surprised about the low rating, as I always managed to get appointments when I needed and I was always seen, prescriptions were always there. Throughout the years I had my blood checked, which then showed anemia, which was treated, I had a mole removed and many tonsillitis treated through Airthrey. The system have changed quite a bit after Covid, and I understand many people hate phone appointments. However I have never used the dentist here so I cannot anything on that note. And I have been having issues with my ears for nearly 6 months now, and they have tried to help me but were really reluctant to refer me to a specialist, because the waiting list is so long. But then I went private, and they didn?t do anything with my ears either, hence the 4 star.

The receptionists are in desperate need of training. I came in at 7.30am because my appointment got rescheduled to be told that they don't do these types of appointment, even though I had my bloods done here many times to then be told if I was sure it wasn't meant to be a phone appointment. Afterwards the doctor asked me to make an appointment for vaccinations only to be told again that they don't do this type of appointment, to which the doctor had to come to reception and correct them.

Been with the surgery for years , our whole family has and never had a bad experience, reception is friendly and knowledgeable, always try to fit us in even when beyond busy, drs are friendly and helpful , some of the GPS go above and beyond , overall we would highly recommend, busy surgery as on campus but no complaints

Absolutely useless. If you are any type of international student with any form of needs do not even bother. I was at the uni for 8 months and every single time without fail even though I called, and followed their procedures they messed SOMETHING up with my medications. When I ask what to do next time so the same mistakes don?t happen they repeat the EXACT procedure I followed and when I explain that their only answer is, ?well this actually isn?t OUR fault.? Save yourself the trouble and don?t bother going.

All the doctors I've had the chance to meet are gentle and competent. Appointments and prescriptions are made available very quickly.

Registered a year ago as a staff member. They accepted my registration but when I tried to make an appointment told me it was not valid as they will no longer treat staff.

Absolutely awful GP, avoid at all costs. please save yourself the frustration of dealing with exceptionally rude receptionists, inefficiency, delays, cancellations and just far too many mistakes that they simply do not care to correct or compensate for.From my experience, there are a couple of good doctors there and the others are, from what I know, either somewhat incompetent or unpleasant and even negligent.I'd say the exception proves the rule here. There's no use in having a decent doctor, if you're lucky, but abysmal receptionists and awful everything else.I've finally had enough and I'm switching to another GP.People only give this place a 5 star review because they had a few reasonable experiences and then feel bad for the low rating, don't listen to them unless you want to try your luck!

I am actually surprised about the lower star ratings for this centre. I was on exchange at the University of Stirling and had to go into the medical centre quite a few times. They were always so supportive and gracious, they gave me great service and always really attempted to fit me into their busy schedule. I am so appreciative and lucky to have had this place and recommend it highly.

Where do I even start! Snarky and rude receptionists, prescriptions not sent to pharmacy, lied to about getting a prescription mix up fixed, sent to see physio instead of the requested Dr, not told that an appointment was cancelled and not given an option to reschedule, constantly trying to change my meds because 'they arnt the normal ones', conflicting advice and being told I can't manage something I've been managing my whole life, turned away with nothing more than flippant remarks and vague self treatment options. No stars if possible.
