Stayed recently for the weekend and would love to return. The building has been standing for over 250 years and it is charming. Stayed in the large suite which is very roomy, warm and comfortable.Excellent value for money, and in such a beautiful part of the world.

Fabulous quirky Hotel, great hosts, dog friendly, no restaurant but meals by request. Very good bar used by locals who were very friendly. Beautiful garden. Will stay there again as it's only 40 mins from the Cairnryan

The best places to stay make you feel at home and The Craighlaw Arms does that from the moment you walk in. The hosts - Dave and Debbie - are friendly, and it?s a cosy and welcoming place. Our room was a great place to relax and rest after a long drive. Dave cooked a fabulous Thai curry I can recommend. A great start to our holiday.

Dave and Debbie were the nicest and most genuine hosts we have had the pleasure of staying with. We were made to feel right at home from the moment we stepped in the door. We stopped off at their charmimg B&B on our way through from Stranraer and it is perfectly located if you need to catch the ferry, situated in a quiet, rural location with some lovely walks on its doorstep. We arrived later in the evening and were shown to our spacious and well equipped room, which had much more than I expected for such competitive rates.Dave makes a mean Firecracker Prawn dish and a quality Scottish Breakfast, he was also very accommodating to my partner's gluten intolerance in the preparation of his dishes. We especially enjoyed the fact they were completely dog friendly with the room being more than big enough for the two of us and a large dog to sprawl out. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spotless. We will certainly be returning to the Craiglaw Arms the next time we are in the area. Everyone needs and Debbie and Dave. Till next time!Sam, Annie & Luna.
