Always love shopping in here but unfortunately didn?t enjoy the experience today. Shop assistant at till clearly hacked off we interrupted her newspaper reading to buy a book and to top it off when We thanked Her for the purchase she said ?That?s fine?. Very disappointing. Welcome to Fife!

This is a large and extremely well-stocked bookshop. Don't be deceived by the small frontage. It opens out as you enter and you are enveloped in a maze of passages, rooms and ladders . There is massive choice and if you do make a purchase you might even be offered a pot of tea.

Every wall is categorically filled with dozens of books with genres, topics, and authors as myriad as the fish in the ocean. There's also a small lounge are in the kids books section that allow children to take a small preview at a book they're interested in.

Friendly knowledgeable staff, clean, organised and welcoming shop, cosy place to browse an incredible selection of books. They have the most amazing array of children's books too!

Tranquil atmosphere and an amazing selection of books including many signed and first editions.Even had a wood burning stove in a cosy nook.
