Chips were light crispy and fluffy not greasy and the sausage was cooked to perfection could of done with slightly more salt and vinegar but ten out of ten !!

We booked a table for our friends birthday . The food was great especially the lobster arancini and gin infused salmon on special. What made the night for us was the staff - what a fabulous bunch. They really made our night - lovely gesture of complimentary drink for my friend . Along with a big happy birthday sing along . Thoroughly recommend this place for any sort of get together.

Really great fresh seafood options! Definitely a must if you are a seafood lover. We also really enjoyed the nice wine selection. I love that it's not only a restaurant but also a seafood market so if you are just looking to takeout or bake fish at home it's a great option. The inside of the restaurant was nice nothing too fancy but modern and clean. Service was very attentive and nice. We did not feel rushed even though when I booked they had a note saying a time limit. This seemed common at most restaurants we booked in Scotland though so maybe it's more of common place. Overall if we are ever back in St. Andrew's we will be back.

For first-timers; the restaurant is located behind the fish-and chip counter (go to the left and then back down the hall. Great spot for some hearty fish & chips after playing golf. We were absolutely starving when we walked in and were seated right away, even without a reservation. The space is fairly large and although I would not call the space comfortable, it was very clean and cute. The menu had a variety of seafood dishes and I really enjoyed my fish tacos. However, the onion rings were pretty greasy and bland. We were on a tight schedule as we needed to catch the train back to Edenborough. The staff was so nice, letting us place our orders right away and getting our check quickly.

First time in St Andrews having read the reviews we decided to go the guy who we took to be the manager said the restaurant was quite fully booked but, he accommodated our party of 4.
Have to say the service and food was excellent. The only thing I bought to this guys attention was the state of the hand dryer in the gents toilet which was a disgrace. He did say he would pay it attention asap. Other than that a great visit
Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely not wheelchair friendly as steps into the shop and to the toilets.

Food was decent . Ordered fish cakes which we normally do , and then found out they had changed them to a salmon / chilli instead of the regular fish cake! Server did not offer any indication of the change - received the fish cakes and hated them ? Asked to speak to mgr who pretty much told us we were shit out of luck - will never be back ! Service was great - management was pathetic, not a care to attempt to remedy the situation. Options in st Andrew?s just as good with people who want to cater to guests spending money .

Very poor, more batter than fish, chips and batter saturated in oil. Service very disjointed, new payment system in place which doesn't help service. No signs in place to advise. 1/ 10 very poor and I won't be back

Oysters were fresh and delicious. Mussels were fantastic, but would have been perfect if they toasted the bread with it.

Food was great, atmosphere was very lively, and the staff seemed to be enjoying themselves. I thought the prices were maybe a hair higher than what I expected, but in a tourist town they were inline with what we saw elsewhere. Best fish and chips we had in Scotland.
