Having been told I needed new glasses as my prescription had changed, then to find out, after £260 spent, that the prescription was wrong, is not a good selling point. One pair distance, one pair for computer work. Thankfully the computer pair isn't adversely affected by the wrong prescription, and having the distance changed back to the new (old) prescription was convenient.
But again, I wouldn't have actually bought new glasses at all had the test been correct in the first place. Yes, it is nice to have new, pretty frames, but as this is the second time a wrong prescription has been given to me here, I would recommend going elsewhere.
The staff are wonderful, though, which is why this is 3* and not 2*.

Nice staff. Takes a week to get your glasses - that?s a bit too long I think. Reasonable choice of glasses but fall down on colourful glasses - not just on the inside of the legs - why not the outside legs & frames ? I wish there was a better selection of vibrant colours.

These women are the most helpful women ever! My son's glasses were swept away when he was swimming. I arrived in Specsavers St. Andrews stressed & panicked, & left stress free & happy. The staff were incredibly kind, knowledgeable & helpful. I recommend wholeheartedly, & am very, very grateful to them.

I'd like to thank the whole team for the superb service I have received over the last few years.
I have been a customer now for several years and have met most of the team, all of whom have always been incredibly helpful and obliging.
I've just had a cataract operation, as recommended by the senior optician. It went well and the other day I went in for my post operative check up and eye tests.
The usual incredible service. I really can't praise them enough. Thanks, Julia and team.
