Worst petrol station in ScotlandAs someone who occasionally makes deliveries for a side job, I found myself in a frustrating situation at this petrol station one late night. I was tasked with delivering two packets of cigarettes to an address at 1 am. However, the customer didn't answer the door, so I returned home with the items. The next day, I attempted to return the cigarettes to the petrol station but encountered hostile and threatening treatment from the staff.Upon presenting the receipt and cigarettes for a refund, the cashier immediately claimed that it was illegal to refund cigarettes. Sceptical of this assertion, particularly as I?ve worked in the CEO?s office for one of Britain?s biggest supermarkets, I asked for clarification on the law. Instead of providing any valid legal justification, the cashier then insisted that refunds couldn't be issued due to concerns about counterfeit products or contamination. Despite offering to have the unopened cigarettes inspected, the cashier dismissively told me to leave the shop.Seeking a resolution, I requested to speak with the manager, only to be informed that they were on annual leave and to come back another day. Despite multiple return visits, I was met with unhelpful responses and even the threat of police intervention if I persisted. In my efforts to address this issue, I escalated the matter by contacting the CEO of Nisa Retail, who facilitated communication with the area manager and SGN. Despite these efforts, the petrol station owner still refused to provide a refund, citing baseless concerns about the authenticity and safety of the cigarettes. Now, I'm left with £29.40 worth of cigarettes that I have no use for, especially considering that I don't smoke. This treatment is particularly disappointing considering it was my first time requesting a refund from this establishment, their response is final.Furthermore, the pricing at this petrol station is exorbitant, resembling price gouging rather than fair pricing. It's ironic that they advertised themselves as having "lower prices, better value" and ?under new management?, yet charge significantly more than the recommended retail price for items like a can of Red Bull. (£3.35 instead of £2.40RRP)My recommendation to others is to avoid this petrol station altogether and opt for the better service and fairer prices available at Morrisons petrol station nearby. It's simply not worth the hassle or the extra expense.

It's a garage at the end of the day. But it's a good clean one and the staff are very friendly.

The jetwash only takes coins and the foam brush isn't the best but it gets the job done!

great staff, polite and friendly (5 years ago)Staff these days are pretty rude as they will serve you whilst on constant phonecalls and very rarely even look at the customers and barley get a word out of them other than what they are day Ng to whoever is on phone, your employee Scott on the other hand is a cheery, helpful and polite member of your team and due to this will not drop my rating to two as that's is unfair on the team members who really do try to go the extra mile for your paying customers. I only ever use shell now as my wife orders through very and have to go there to collect. It's a shame as my review 5 years ago praised your team.

Disappointing service. The shop refused to take collect+ parcel drop off on two occasions. Had to drop off parcels at other stores in Cupar or Dundee.

Happy to sell food which is 6 days out of date. (Remember to get a receipt so you can return said items as they are already overpriced)

Wanted me to take my crash helmet off for fuel, which it seems is against Shell policy. Just rode off and took my business to Morissons instead.

Worst car wash experience, brushes full of sand, scratching to car irreparable even after £600 spend on machine polish etc.. garage response just the worst form of blame avoidance, Shell not much better, steer clear if you can!
