Very clean, helpful and personal staff, not just rushing around. Clean tables, and lots of small tables for two people.

Racial Attacked
During our school visit to St. Andrew's, we decided to grab lunch at Pret so we could work and eat at the same time. However, when we arrived, we were approached and told we couldn?t eat our own food, despite seeing other students enjoying their lunch boxes without any issues. Even though we were still planning on buying food from Pret. When we tried to chat with our friend while standing, we were informed that we could not reserve a table for ourselves and then asked to leave. It was frustrating, especially as three black students on a school trip.

Tables were filthy and I watched a staff member wiping all of the food off of the tables on to the seats, so instead of having crumbs all over your table like we did, some unfortunate will have had them all over their backside!

I can't understand why a pret ceo being paid millions was silly enough to speak to subscribers in such a way with latest statement made. Almost like theu thought all brain cells had disappeared. I very much doubt I will use pret again after this. Coffee is super mid and highly overpriced they don't even have proper baristas.

Two Americanos with oat milk and a vegan 'cookie'. The biscuit was fab, but the coffees tastedlike brown wztwr with a dash of oat milk. Very disappointing

Food was quite expensive and drinks were not especially hot although hot chocolates were not bad and it was a seat out of the cold.Food and drinks were served in takeaway cups which didn't feel particularly welcoming as we were dining inside. Service was OK but could have been a bit cheerier.Their toilet system is also annoying as you need a receipt to get in to them and we were not given a receipt at the till. However all that being said, their chocolate croissant was quite tasty.

Walked in and up to the counter. One of those situations where the staff seem like you?re going to mug them - hiding round a corner, peering over as if they?re unsure why they?re even there. Engaged one with strong eye contact and managed to force a smile out of them. Win. Next, onto the order.First world problem coming right up. But still. Ordered a double macchiato. First thing up was a latte or flat white size drink. Loads of milk. That went back. Second up, what most closely resembled a cappuccino. Manager could see I looked perplexed and came over. I asked them what their definition of a macchiato is. Apparently their definition is a cappuccino. With no chocolate powder. So not even a good cappuccino. Huge amount of foam on top. She was happy with this, saying places ?just do things differently?. They do indeed.I know everywhere does things differently, but things have names so you literally know what you?re ordering and hopefully getting within at least a sensible range. Kind of a basic principle of language, and being able to operate in a society. I had assumed.According to the manager the first drink wasn?t acceptable and was a miscommunication? Not sure at what point in the complex chain of communication between me and the barista things got muddled? I guess she was talking about head office completely miscommunicating how to make coffee to their branches.Careful if you go there for a sandwich. Could end up with a large bowl of pasta.

best pret, super clean, all the staff are so so nice. there is not always seating available, esp. on weekday afternoons during term time, but that's to be expected. even when it's crazy busy they still manage to make the drinks super fast and you don't have to wait at the counter for someone.

Experienced lovely service today - even though one of their machines was broken! It was pretty busy and I can imagine quite a stressful situation, and regardless they were friendly and helpful. The lady serving me apologised for the delay even though my coffee was out to me in record time! Just a perfect example of the high standard of customer service I experience there. Some of the staff remember me and my order when I pop in! Which is nice, I come in before work and it?s always a positive start to my day. All in all a great place to be a regular!

This was my first time visiting and I will NOT be returning to any chain of Pret. There was no sense to where the queue was and no one to make it clear (except a small paper sign people were standing in front of). I was waiting there for ages in front of the till waiting to be served. They could see that and didn?t acknowledge me or attempt to indicate I was standing in the wrong place. Some people came in a while after me and then after we were all standing in the wrong place, we were finally told to queue on the other side - and they were served instantly. Knowing I had stood there first, the barista told me to join the back of the queue on the other ?correct? side. I completely understand my side was incorrect, but I think it?s very curt to then serve the others before me fully knowing I had been waiting before them, to make a point. To top it off, another lady came and stood right where I was before and was instantly served on the other side - the barista even looked at me - despite this being the ?incorrect? side. Normally I wouldn?t write reviews like this but as a barista myself and having worked in hospitality all my life, this was all very rude from their side and not the way I would ever act with customers. I didn?t even get a slightest ?sorry about that?. Ironically the only people that apologised were the people who got served in front. It seems common decency is lost in these big chains. I didn?t make a big fuss but I 100% won?t be returning, I?d much prefer to support independent coffee shops or ones that have a sense of hospitality to them.
