“This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. The last time was nearly ten years ago, and I enjoyed my stay back then, which is why I decided to return. I have thoroughly enjoyed my two-night stay this time as well.
The hotel’s reception staff was kind and very helpful, assisting me in upgrading to one of the executive rooms. The Old Tom Morris room is absolutely worth the cost, as it is the most spacious on-site, with a great sea view, very quiet (which is vital for a good night's sleep), and a super-large bathroom with a roll-top bath. I love the room's decoration and color scheme, which gives me a warm, relaxing feel.
The location of the hotel is as convenient as ever, which is one of the reasons I chose to stay here in the first place. It's within a 10-minute walk to the heart of the town, and there are sufficient parking spaces in front of the hotel as well. I have fond memories of the hotel’s breakfast, and the quality has not dropped over the years. There are many hot dishes to choose from, and the fruits and yogurt are still my favorites.
I would also like to give a special mention to the efficient service of the housekeeping staff. After I requested additional bath cubes and shower gel at reception, they were delivered to my room before I even returned upstairs!
Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Du Vin St Andrews, and it will always be my first choice of accommodation when I visit St Andrews.”

“Very busy on a Saturday afternoon, recommend booking a table if you are coming for food. service was a wee bit slow but it was very busy.
Dog friendly in the bar and part of the restaurant (water and treats available). The small plates option on the menu was really good and well priced. No Guinness on tap but lots of other options on draft.”
“Great location, around the corner from the 18th tee Old Course. Some rooms are smaller than others. Wifi is terrible, constantly crashing. I wasn't alone outside at 11 pm trying to get a signal so emails I "sent" hours earlier would leave my outbox.”
“Stayed for 3 nights for work. Decent hotel, small, not brand new but not ancient, nice staff, nice brekkie. It's a little bit out of town, but St Andrews is small. I could hear the person in the room upstairs walking around, but not a massive issue. Thanks for the stay!”
“I lived in an Inchdairnie property from 2018-2021, and my experience was fantastic. The property was well maintained, safe, and properly secure. The estate agents were always kind, friendly, and prompt with responding to requests. Occasionally, an appliance would need replacing, and Inchdairnie were always accommodating and dealt with our needs quickly. I had peace of mind, knowing that the property was looked after and that my flatmate and I were likewise treated with respect and care. I highly recommend them for anyone needing to rent in St Andrews.”
