Big Dr Noodles fan but wouldn?t go back to the St Andrews shop.
Bought a box to eat en route home to Perth, so disappointing that I went to the Perth shop at the other end instead which is always great.
Really watered down and flavourless in St Andrews, took a photo of the ?same? hot chilli sauce that was given in the St Andrews one and then a tub of it from Perth, totally differently colour and consistency?

We are regulars in this DR NOODLEs in St Andrews and tonight it was more than disappointing. The food was great as always but the service was much less than standard customer service. Today when I walked in the door to the St Andrews store I was greeted by two females that rolled their eyes at me. Did not feel welcome at all and when I tried to exit they had blocked me in with stock and didn?t allow other customers in. This was at 4pm.

The food is amazing lot of options for sauces and options for vegetarian. The food was delicious. Definitely would go try again.

We stopped here as it was one of those nights where we just wanted to eat and couldn't be bothered to think too much about it.
You can choose from Rice or Noddles, a meat/soya and some veg. Add some sauce and that's your meal.
It's about as good / bad as you make it really. Dr Noodles are quite generous with the noodles and veg, but the flavour is not going to win any awards.
Tbh if you want quality rice / noodles then go to your local takeaway, however if you want a quick bite and don't care what it tastes like, this place is for you.

Very tasty, filling food, quick service, cosy venue. Thought noodles might be greasy but was pleasantly surprised. Would definitely go back.

It is a bit cramped inside, but if you are wandering the streets of St Andrews looking for delicious noodles, there are far worse places. I wish the music or atmosphere were a bit more transporting, but one comes to a place like this primarily for delicious food, and in that respect, it gridley satisfies. To the woman who gave us an extra few prawns free of charge, I extend my gratitude. But even without that bonus, these noodles are extremely robust. A single normal sized portion is enough to satiate the appetites of two people easily, or to give one person two meals. I highly recommend this unassuming little locale.
