I had a great time visiting Cromars. I had the haddock and chips. The fish was cooked perfectly and the batter was light and crispy. I visit from New York City often and Cromars is my spot for lunch every day. Shannon makes me feel right at home and serves up the best White Pudding Supers in St. Andrews. No matter how busy she is, she always has a smile and a friendly greeting and that's why Cromars is my favorite place for lunch.
Cromars fish and chip shop is one of the best takeaway restaurants in St Andrews. Plus it offers plenty of sit in or al fresco dining in St Andrews. We only serve high quality, fresh produce. We pride ourselves in serving the best fish supper accompanied by our homemade tartare sauce, mushy peas and wedge of lemon. This is all prepared by our fantastic and friendly team. We take the simplest of things, and do it to high standards.
You can then enjoy our outdoor seating area which is under a canopy and has external heaters or take it to our favourite little beach which is only a five minute walk! Plus we are family friendly and a dog friendly restaurant, so no need to tie your dog up outside.
