Great for a family lunch, they are open the whole afternoon. The haddock and chips was great, everything else was fine except for the crispy prawns which were a bit disappointing. The menu has calories listed, and there is free refills of beverages.

Just another soulless premier inn. No working air conditioning the night we stayed, when it was an unusual 30 degrees in Edinburgh. Windows can't open and those creaky corridors to reach your room a billion miles away. Staff, as usual very nice . It's just the hotel itself

Average food. Burger and burrito bowl. Both edible nothing spectacular. Banoffee cheesecake was not great. Crushed flake over the top was stale and cheesecake didn't taste baked. Outside was strewn with litter. Prices on the high side for the quality of food

Stopped here for a bite of lunch before heading to Edinburgh Airport for a flight.
The place was busy but we got a table. Good choices on the menu. Shared the starter sharing platter and then had our mains.
Great service by the staff that were on duty.

Party of 24 arrived for dinner having pre booked but not pre ordered.
The restaurant was busy and we had a bit of a wait to order at the till . Unfortunately, the beef and turkey from the Sunday roast dishes were unavailable by the time I ordered .However , James, member of staff was super helpful and friendly and offered alternatives .
Turns out the food was actually very good , arrived quickly and was piping hot . The portions were generous and were enjoyed by all.......which is no mean feat.
Would definitely recommend and James is a credit to the business . Well done ?

What a great team making us very welcome and couldn't do enough for us. Ann and James are wonderful and a credit to Brewers Fayre. Food was very good and promptly served. The only negative comment would be the place inside and out is a tad tired and in need of a spruce up.

The food was very good for a pub / restaurant chain. We were a party of 32 people, most ordering two courses, and the food came out fast and hot. The service excellent.

I am only giving the one star due to the terrible attitude of the lady who i believe was the boss who greeted us when we came in. Daughter had booked for 6 people but she said no it was only booked for 4 people. Well you would have thought we were trying to rob the place. NO NO definately only four she shrieked, head all moving and arguing with herself. We just stood there looking at her, then as if a miracle happened she managed to get us a seat and I think she wanted us to give her a round of applause and be forever grateful for the rest of our lives. Food atmosphere good. Head lady serving yesterday the 15th June, your attitude has to be so much better when greeting people. We unfortunately wont be back because of that.
