Went here for father's day with dad, husband, sister and brother in law. Really enjoyed as usual. Have been here on numerous occasions.

I have had take outs from here and they are always have been delicious. Today I decided to dine in. I didn't booked a table, the staff were so accommodating and cordial.
The food was amazing, if you want to taste Chinese food with fresh products, this is the place to go, the food was incredible tasty.
The staff so helpful and friendly.

Ordered a take away. Can honestly say, in my many years of ordering food, this was the most inedible meal I have had. The chicken wings were overcooked and the beef was so chewy and tough we couldn't swallow it. If I had dined in the restaurant I would have refused to pay. Will never order from here again

Was one of my favourite Chinese restaurants but has went down hill, don't know if it's changed owners? . Food was bland and no flavour to it, cash only now. Won't be travelling from Broxburn to it again. Very disappointed.

Bamboo has been our local Chinese of choice for the past 3 years now. Family who visit always rate it above the other ones in the area too, and trying to be as honest as possible with the review.
We ordered takeaway this weekend with a variety of dishes, and sadly every single one of them had issues.
Vege spring rolls - usually really tasty, these were overcooked and bland.
Salt and Chilli chips - they are provided in a cardboard box, rather than the paper bag other things come in. As a result, even after a 5 min journey home they were completely soggy, and not remotely spicy.
Prawn toast - Passable, again, a bit soggy from the issues with packaging.
Special fried rice - Fish was really bland and the remaining meat was incredibly fatty - my wife ended up spitting it out.
Noodles main was more of a special, given it had a random hair inside it.
Overall, standards just seem to have completely dropped. Bland food, lacking in spice or flavour and definitely not fresh. Will be giving it a wide berth for the foreseeable future.

Just in from here. We haven't been for many years thought it would be nice to visit again. It's a shame the restaurant was cold, our starters came out on cold plates however they were still OK. Mains were OK however I was thrown with pineapple in my satay. Not sure it will be somewhere we will visit again. Service was good can't fault.
