We were a party of 5 who had the Sunday roast/Sausage & Mash with caramelised onion and both were excellent, great gravy too.

Absolutely gorgeous food, the whole family enjoyed their meals and nothing was left dispite big portions. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere that they have created here with the fairy lights and trees is beautiful!! Fair prices and will definitely be back here.

An enjoyable Sunday lunch with my extended family - treated to it by my in-laws. The Woll is and always has been a fantastic venue, very popular amongst Borderers for many reasons. I?ve had the privilege of eating there as part of a Golf day and a Wedding. For my Sunday lunch, I opted for the Soup of the day to start (Tomato) - a good dish although I did feel that only one portion of Crusty Bread was a bit disappointing. Nonetheless, a hearty bowl which I finished with ease. For my main, I didn?t even look past the Woll Burger on the menu. It had to be. Another good dish and a generous portion with that - I certainly felt filled by the end of it. For me, the Burger was just a tad overdone, but I enjoyed it so we?ll leave it at that. The staff were great (very accommodating to the kids which went down well). I can?t really comment on the cost. Overall, a decent outing to Ashkirk.
