I have tried this place a couple of times. It gets a good reputation locally. I was profoundly disappointed in vegetarian meals on both visits. This was due to lack of vegetables in the vegetable curries. One of the curries had onion, garlic and ginger as the only vegetables. I find that bizarre in an Indian restaurant as many Indians are vegetarian.
My kids tell me the meat dishes were good.
The staff are very polite and I didn't enjoy telling the front of house team I wouldn't be coming back. Very happy to return if some thought and effort goes in to vegetarian food

Very pleasant and quiet; very easy to park across the street. Food was perfect. Service was slightly less observant than ideal, but not an issue.

Starter was very poorly presented and was very basic.
The main Chicken Tika masala, the worst I've ever tasted. The chicken was tough and the sauce was not good. For £80 it wasn't worth the money. I've not been here for 9 months and I won't be back anytime soon.

An impromptu decision turned out to be one of the best meals. Impeccable, warm, kind service of aromatic amazing food. Chef is rather clever with his spices. Will definitely be returning, there are quite a few more dishes that we want to try.
