Called in whilst touring the island on a chilly April day, a quirky little place that offered freshly prepared sandwiches, snacks, and hot and cold drinks, we were very well looked after and the little village shop, post office and tearoom offered a friendly good value and good humoured experience. Great views from the cafe and the seating opposite.

Stopped off yesterday ,for the first time, whilst out cycling. What a wee gem of a place this is for hot and cold refreshments.I was served by a most delightful, pleasant and polite young girl. Once she took my order, she brought it over to me ,as I was sitting at one of the picnic benches across the road. Before returning to the tearoom, she asked if everything was as I ordered,it was.A very tasty roll and linked sausages, fruit scone and jam and a freshly made cafetiere of coffee.Absolutely scrumptious, yes for sure I will stop by next time I'm in the area, and I'd recommend that you too stop by, should you wish excellent customer service and tasty food. 10/10One thing I didn't get answer to ,was the fact that the premises appears to be a homage to all things Titanic,I would be very interested to find out why ?

Very old fashioned village store. Tries to do everything groceries, tea room, post office, etc. It's a nice location and the owners very friendly.

Wonderful place to visit along with the other beautiful parts of Bute. We spent a while here recently, parking along at the end of the coast road near the bus turning bay, because there's no through road in the southern direction. It's so tranquil, just the sound of the water lapping against the rocks and some seagulls. There is a shingle beach (which includes some small coves), some areas of larger, coloured pebbles and smooth sandstone rocks. In warmer weather there are many butterflies which settle on flowers close to the shoreline. Great views across the Clyde too.
