I used to get this whisky in my country but not anymore and I am looking for it everywhere. It was underpriced, my favourite whisky!!

A gift from my daughter who has restarted her business for the first time in over 10 years...a flavor that naturally speaks to the soul.

We had a great afternoon at the Glen Grant distillery. The staff are great and so helpful. The whisky and the story of the distillery is so well explained. If you have time, visit the distillery garden, what a beautiful place, so peaceful. We wandered round it today and It was so tranquil.

Have underestimated the destillery myself. Was one of the major surprises on my route through Scotland. Nice pairs, cheap tour, guide even swichted to German when he understood that my father is not that capable in English. I will definitely come back and also have to say that the range is very good and competitive.

We did the distillery tour, very informative and interesting, really good distillery, really took the time to help us understand the history and range of whisky, would recommend.

A leisurely stroll in the garden followed by some tastings was very pleasant. If you?re keen on any Harris Tweed bag sold in their shop, buy it. It?s more expensive in Ballater shops

Short but generally informative tour of the distillery. Tasting experience was limited and substandard, with little information or helpfulness. Seemed our custom was not really welcome or appreciated.

Unique and informative distillery tour. Beautiful facility. The gardens surrounding the buildings were fantastic. Kirstie, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and patient with all of our questions. While the process for making whisky is similar from distillery to distillery it's the small details that make a place unique. Glen Grant had some amazing small details.

We?ve been to a quite a few distilleries in Scotland and wanted to try something different. Glen Grant?s big selling point I think is it?s lovely gardens, which were particularly pretty in Autumn. The tour itself was good as well, and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. I appreciated the straightforward answers about the production process. A great experience, overall.

Lovely grounds and nice little tour of the working stills. Some very reasonably priced bottles available in the distillery shop too.

My cousins were up from England and l was looking for a Distillery experience for them, looking through all the local ones, some were charging ridiculous prices so we were pleased to see that Glen Grant charged just £7.50 for a 40 minute tour plus tasting, which suited them as non Whisky drinkers that wanted to know the process. Kirsty was our Guide who led us around with an obvious passion for her job, answering any questions we had . She gave clear information and allowed us to go at a steady pace to take it all in. The place was spotless , the gardens full of Autumn colour. All in all it was a fantastic experience for them . l would highly recommend this friendly local tour to people that want to know how our Malts are made. Keep up the good work Glen Grant ...and thank you.

The official tasting was all booked up and were offered an alternative self-guided Botanical Garden Tour with tasting. The very large garden was beautifully landscaped and captured our attention for nearly an hour. Fruit trees, flowers and well maintained pathways. Upon returning to the reception we were greeted with a two samples, GG10y and a new blend. Our guide, Neil, was very friendly and funny, explaining not just the whisky but also the distillery/location. For the cost of 5pounds per person we thought this was a great value for the garden+guided tasting.

A must. The Scotch Whisky was good... but the grounds are spectacular. We didn't know what to expect given that this was our n-th distillery visit in days. But we were WOWed by the experience. DO yourself a favour and want the grounds. Keep in mind we were the on a very hot and sunny summer's day. If you're not drinking the walk is free. If you are doing a tasting as well, then the walk before will only enhance the flavours.

Like every distillery they are always good to see...However, this place have something different on their distillation process.
