I visited 2 days ago and experienced excellent customer service from a staff. We wanted to buy milk but found that the section is empty. A staff asked us initiatively are we looking for milk and helped us to pick one in stock.

Disappointed by Poor Service and Unprofessional Behaviour at Tesco Renfrew
I visited Tesco Renfrew on Tuesday, 29th July 2025, around 6:30 PM and had a very disappointing experience. I used two valid vouchers for TENA pads. Although both were scanned, only one was applied, which I noticed after paying.
At the customer service desk, a helpful staff member said a refund could be issued but needed assistance from a colleague. Despite calling for help several times and the colleague clearly being nearby, we waited about 15 minutes before anyone came to assist. When the staff member finally appeared, their attitude was unprofessional?no greeting, no smile, and a dismissive manner.
Instead of quickly resolving the issue, they questioned the voucher?s validity and took an additional 10 minutes to verify it in person, which delayed us further. We ended up spending over 30 minutes dealing with a £2.40 refund while juggling children in the car and guests waiting.
Having worked in customer service myself, I found this attitude shocking?no courtesy, empathy, or effort to help quickly. The whole experience made us feel unwelcome and disrespected. I also felt there were subtle undertones of discriminatory behaviour in how I was treated.
This was very different from the excellent service I?ve always received at Tesco Linwood. As a loyal Tesco customer for over 15 years, this experience at Renfrew was deeply disappointing.
Tesco should ensure all staff receive proper customer service training, especially those representing the brand on the shop floor.

Store is okay, was a bit irritating that the meal deals didn't seem to have all the components available and couldn't find any staff to assist so ended up not buying any

Visited store today and recieved excellent service from Bill. He overheard me saying I loved turnip, but hated trying to cut it. Bill so kindly took the turnip and peeled and chopped it all for me. Thanks again Bill, very much appreciated.

So I?ve been going to Tesco Renfrew for about 20 years now, every week, £50 a week.
i?ve always used my phone to pay - just use my picture of my club card.
Today I went to Tesco, and a new guy with light coloured long hair and tattoos told me nah I can?t accept a picture of your club card - I said I know nearly all of the staff in here and they know I have a club card lol but no, so after I?d paid his manager walked by and she said yea of course you could have scanned it.
I think I?ll be going elsewhere for my weekly shop, pure because these new staff aren?t the best. They ignore you, draw their eyes off you and are just generally rude.
When I was there, the guy in front of me was asking for a sim card and the guy just stared at him and every so often would say I don?t know. He got a SIM card again off the manager but honestly these people they are ridiculous getting?. BE BETTER TESCO, also Bill at the door is quite rude and shouted to me DONT VAPE IN THE SHOP - I was outside and in the middle of putting my vape in my bag? but Kim at the checkout is amazing and fantastic - learn from her.

Store has never responded to my complaint that the delivery driver angrily and threw my shopping all over the hallway because I wouldn't answer the door when I had COVID and requested a no contact delivery.
