Hello All and Sundry, came to Holland and Barrett where I was welcomed by Colin, manager, and Islay. I found them both cordial and informative when it came to vitamins and supplements etc. They displayed genuine enthusiasms in their approach and I was delighted with the service. I would definitely recommend.

This shop in Braehead sells a variety of health products including minerals such as zinc and iron, vitamins, and protein based products deemed to be helpful in the bulking of muscle. Although it's said that most of these can be obtained in a healthy diet, personally I think this shop does a decent job, it does encourage healthy lifestyle a thing much ignored in the modern world.

Went over to this store after them not having what i needed at Silverburn. Prices are far too high even if you need something urgently i only buy on offer. Never understood how a health store can employ staff who are far from the image of health i thought it was just the first store i tried but seems to be a reoccurring thing. Dont try to sell me diet pills and tell me how great they are at £30 when clearly they're not working for you. When you're that in shape glowing skin type we all want to be then i'll buy whatever you suggest whatever the cost. Found the product i needed on a 3 for 2 offer at a popular chemist store.

When I was much younger and in the early days of my higher education, I had a great landlady. A lovely lady that I still miss. She loved wrestling , the flips and falls, the good guys and the villains. The thing she loved the most was the heel turn. When the good guy was down and saved by a reformed baddie storming the ring - defending the suffering hero from the assailants who wanted to do him harm. The heel was transformed - from bad to good. One of the oldest stories from history played out on canvas by sweaty titans. Well, Braehead H&B have done a heel turn. They have transformed this little store from a place where it seemed that the folks did not care to one where they have gone a little above and beyond. The stock is still limited but they seem to be more on top of it. Wife and I were looking for the new vegan duck and beef chunks. I wandered thinking it was not possible. Just waiting for the disappointment. There they were sitting next to some melting vegan cheese (two types). Wow well done. Lots more selection in the other areas. And no empty slots on the shelves They definitely stepped up. It did not take much - just a couple areas and these folks are back on track. Holland and Barrett did the heel turn - and they stand redeemed.
