My car developed a brake problem just 1 day before I was due to travel south for Christmas. I rang Morrisons to see if I could hire a car. Both Christine and Steve could not have been more helpful and suggested that they could mend my car straight away. They sourced the parts and had the car fixed in no time at all with a hire car on standby in case they couldn't fix it. Lovely friendly people and first class service. Thanks guys.

As many tourists do?. We got a flat while visiting Skye. And all I can say is this place is amazing! After I changed the tire I found Morrisions and Steve. I can't speak to the actual service, and I'm not trying to dissuade from using them - but if you're looking for a car hire then make sure it's written down. Spoke to them on the phone a couple days ago and were told we'd have a car and to just call as we came in.Due to some staff miscommunication we're left in Portree without a car to use after planning our stay around having one.Might not be an issue if you can drive manual, but ruined our trip to Skye.

We can?t thank enough Christine, Steven and the rest of Morrison?s Garage wonderful team for their professionalism, kindness, help and support when our camper van broke down while travelling in the Isle of Skye. Being peak season (August) and thus, a really busy time for them, they showed infinite empathy and made time to have a proper look at our van, make a diagnose, order the spare part and set it all up for us to be on the road again. On top of that, and as the new piece would take several days to arrive, they found another van for us so the whole family could continue exploring the wonderful landscapes of the North West. Our hearts will be forever grateful for what you guys have done for us. Borja & Ane.

I do not often leave reviews but this one is absolutely deserved. Had the misfortune of having two punctured tires two days in a row, with the second one on a Saturday. Despite normally being closed on Saturday, Morrison garage accommodated us on both both occasions, allowing us to continue our trip through Scotland. Super friendly and professional service. The best bargain on Isle of Skye! Rented a nice car for 70 pounds per day incl insurance. Car was nearly new and served us well. For comparison we were quoted +\- 50 pounds per hour for a taxi and driver tour. The Isle is easy to drive around on your own so Morrison?s rental options are a great alternative to the pricy tours.

Needed a repair on a front tyre, left the car with them even though they were busy. 40 minutes later, tyre fixed only £27.

Had a knocking sound in our van. Saw them first thing and they told us to come back at 2 pm. Fixed what was a minor problem within a couple of hours. Excellent friendly service

Had a tough time with my rented car. Had to replace one tyre during my 2500km road trip.Super professional people, hassle free and work with most of the insurance company. Keep this place in mind when you are in Skye. This is near Port Tree.

3 times my Car has been to this Garage with the same issue.I was told the diagnosis was one thing out of a 3 possible causes.Repaired for £500 with the first diagnosis.Less than 28 days later, the same issue, told second time it was one of the other 3 original causes, but not what they had originally repaired. An additional cost of £870 odd.I was worried their fault finding and diagnosis was lacking or flawed as raised a concern, but still needed the work done.As part of that second repair the 3rd possible cause would also need to be replaced at the same time, due to the way the engine is disassembled and rebuilt.So all 3 possible causes were fully replaced.Now for the 3rd time back into garage, two days later, post the second repair, the same issue, but told by the garage can see no cause and little could be done.3 months dealing with this, almost £1400 out of pocket with the poorest of Poorest Communication, a failure to really diagnose problem first time, not what you would expect from a Garage, it gives off a lack of trust or a sense of capability from the staff, staff generally defensive and bullish, if you raise an objection to the way the whole process works then you are seen as the problem.A thoroughly unpleasant and unsavoury experience from start to finish.
