“Expect approximately 20 mins queuing in front of the restaurant before you get in. We walked around, the situation is similar for other good restaurants in Portree. It is unfortunate they don't take reservations.
The prices are set for 2 or 3 course dinner menu. The food is nice, good quality seafood. Expect that the menu will be different compared to what you see on Google considering the fish seasonability. You have a limited choice of 5-6 mains.
The service inside the restaurant was quick and polite. All together a good experience. The waiting is the biggest inconvenience.”

“We took a chance on this place and had a nice dinner. The staff was very welcoming and kind. We ordered the chicken tikka masala and the peshwari chicken per the waiter’s suggestion. The chicken tikka was extremely sweet and did not have the standard flavor you would expect for the dish. My husband even commented that maybe they mixed up the salt with sugar by accident, but when he asked the waitstaff, they mentioned it was made sweet to satisfy European tastebuds. The peshwari was delicious and I would order it again. My suggestion for anyone interested in eating here is to go with the chef’s recommendations list instead of the “traditional” dishes.”
