I ordered the Large fish and chips, what a disappointment. it was not large. I wouldn't likebto see the size of the small fish. lovely place but wouldn't rush back for food. my friend ordered tuna sandwich and it came with cheese on it. strange combination it had to go back.

We were not informed after placing our order that part of their ?kitchen was down?. Waited over an hour from when our order was placed. I ordered the lamb curry which was like a child?s portion the naan was like the cheaper style one might buy from bnm. The risotto was bland, and the fish was small. The service was awful. My sisters plate got dumped in front of her that caused some of her food to leave the plate, no apology given. I?ve been to this restaurant before which was good definitely won?t be returning. I did share our experience with a member of staff after being asked how was our meal. Received an apology and that was it.

This place has such potential, great decor, well stocked bar, varied menu but on the day we were in the staff were as miserable looking as could be. Very little interaction with customers , didn?t acknowledge customers standing at the ?wait to be seated? sign when they walked past not even to say ? I?ll be with you in a few minutes? a family of 6 got up and left their table after being ignored by passing staff for quite some time. A smile can go a very long way in the hospitality industry and was lacking by all front of house staff members who were on yesterday. Maybe they were all just having an off day but sometimes you just have to remember your hospitality skills are all part of a business not just the food and beverages.
The food we had was nice and the beer garden was a lovely sun trap so we would come back and hopefully the staff will have had a little more customer training by then.

Staff were very friendly. However, the food was terrible, no seasoning, tasteless. Just terrible. Would not recommend.

Went for a meal for a family birthday.. Staff were amazing, food arrived quickly and was hot. Had a brilliant time. Jack was fabulous at looking after us. Will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our mid walk break at this human and dog friendly pub.We are warmly welcomed (even with 6 dogs in tow) - lunch was lovely with friendly polite serviceWell recommended if your walking the shoreside footpath.

An on the spur of the moment decision to pop in here for food.Good choice at lunch time.Good food and beer choices.The food was a good portion and great quality.The chicken noodles and a burger with choice of toppings were great.

Enjoyed post Christmas drinks and a meal here with family. Seems a locals pub but they were welcoming to us including our two dogs. We enjoyed a two course meal and all the food was really nice and exceeded expectations. I had a haggis wellington. It was tasty and had a lovely whiskey cream sauce. For main I carried on the haggis theme with chicken stuffed with it, vegetables & creamy mash. All cooked very well and delicious. Other dishes we had were bruschetta- huge portion, veggie burger which was also huge and came with onion rings. Food was so filling we couldn?t manage a pudding! All food was lovely, above average price but very good value for the generous portions. We have seen the mixed reviews for this place but our experience was very positive; welcoming staff and lovely food.
