Just had a short stay at the hotel. I have to make a special mention to our waitress in the restaurant on Saturday 5th April. Hannah was excellent, she was so helpful and nothing was was a bother. Definitely help make our evening. The restaurant manager would benefit from taking a leaf out of her book as she stood a spoke to one couple for 1 1/2hrs continually without doing any work!!!
Food and drinks: Drink prices a bit on the high side.

The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was good, but not ideal for limited mobility as there was no grab rail by either bath or shower, and wet tiled floors are challenging, but a spare bath mat improved things! Reception were very helpful. Staff in the bar and dining room were friendly and couldn't be faulted. It's not the most beautiful location but it is incredibly well located for visiting the Kelpies, the Falkirk Wheel, Stirling Castle, Linlithgow, Blackness Castle and other lovely places. Parking was always available.
Rooms: Our room was a good size with two armchairs (many hotels only provide one!)
Nearby activities: Visit the Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel, but check the vivitor boat is working! Stirling Castle is close and Linlithgow has a lovely walk round its loch
Safety: could have grab rails to help with slippery bathroom floors
Walkability: You'll need a car!
Food and drinks: Breakfasts are excellent. Good range of options available. We had dinner the first night. It's a little more expensive than some restaurants, such as the Bridge Inn, but we enjoyed the food. Drinks are a bit more expensive but no pubs within walking distance!

Shown to our table for afternoon T buy a tall slim waitress expecting small hot sausages rolls but only had lovely tasting varied sannies & lovely tasting small cakes & the same with the scones along with thick cream & jam - unusual to have CRISP scones - but they tasted v nice.
We had to ask another waitress for more tea ?
So far the best hotel for afternoon T is the Grange Manor.
PS. The bumble ? was on the OUTSIDE of the ? NOT FRIDAY but WEDNESDAY

Showing its age, but a fine mid-range option. Bed was lumpy and needed to get sheets changed as there was blood spots on them (not ours), but I don't feel this would be a regular occurrence. Needs modernised generally - don't expect luxury. Staff were helpful and friendly.

I stay here a lot. The staff are great - they more than make up for the pretty tired rooms (except at breakfast). Breakfast is hit or miss here. Sometimes you sit for ages to give your order. Also, why not have a toast machine!

just spent 2 days at the hotel for my friends and my birthday we had the 2 night spa deal great value for money staff were very friendly food was good the girl on reception was amazing megan was her name credit to the company

Hired the main suite for my wedding a while back. Inchyra used to be the go to venue for larger weddings. Now its a dump, run down, dark, damaged fixtures, lights not working, toilets not flushing, renders crumbling from the wall and the wallace suite entrance being dangerous with raised, damaged paving. VERY outdated and with the price they charge, some of this should be reinvested to fix the place up but this wont happen.
Asked to hire an easel and was told a conference had it a few weeks prior and they had broken it. Macdonald Inchyra said they wouldn't replace it. These things are basics that other venues provide but unfortunately Inchyra dont.
I would seriously look elsewhere for your big day, there are so many better, more up to date venues available.
Although my wedding was a few years ago, i was recrntly here for another wedding and unfortunately the venue has only gotten worse hence why this review is being written now.

Room was very clean and tidy. The facilities were also very clean and a nice atmosphere.
If I had to add a bit of criticism the view out our room (167) wasn't good,looking out to the rear of what I think was the back of the spa so there was no view. However it was a good night we spent there and I'd definitely come back.
The bed was great and comfy and the pillows were fantastic. The water pressure for the shower was also good.
Food and drinks: £30 per person for food only isn't quite enough, maybe add another £5.

We visited for a spa day given to us as a Christmas.
We had a very enjoyable day including lunch in the restaurant.
The pool was lovely and the gym equipment excellent.
The face treatment and massage were well done and relaxing.
Our only complaint was that the restaurant prices were very high but we did enjoy our sandwiches which were the cheapest option.

The girls on reception were plesent and very good, restaurant staff and bar staff had limited hospitality skills, quite impolite never smiled not helpful never ask if everything was to taste rather never past the time of day, quite gloomy atmosphere.disdabled rooms could be any further away from restaurant and bar ,not good if one has difficulty walking. Glad to get home.
Noteworthy details: Felt like the poor relation.over valued for such poor services, hotel rip off

Went for a meal, the dinner was cold the steak was full of fat and inedible, was told I could get a free coffee??? Eventually after complaining I got £20 off the £40 steak. Very unhappy with the way it was handled

Lovely place with have stayed with this chain motel before and like the level of service.
Plug sockets beside the bed were not UK socket so we needed to have an extension cord which was a hazard this need improved the girl on reception could see the issue.
