Cheat! Don't go! My friend and i bought140 pounds of stuff. The Indian cashier took 180 pounds from us and said he would give us a deal. When we confronted him, he gave us 30 pounds back, still cheating us 10 pounds! We refused to leave and he gave us back 10 pounds and closed the shop right away!

My friend and I almost got ripped off by the shop! We each picked two cashmere scarves, £70 for two. My friend was paying first while I was holding £70 waiting beside him. The shop owner took £110 out of his hand and said ?I will give you a deal,? and then took my £70 right away, giving back £10 to me and keeping saying ?good? good?? At that moment, I wasn?t really aware what was going on, nor did I know how much my friend gave him. Not familiar with the British dollar bills and not knowing how much the shop owner took out of my hand, my friend thought it must be a good deal as he saw I got some money back. He didn?t realize he had actually paid a lot more money than necessary until I was picking up a sweater. We went back to the cashier and when we were about to ask, the shop owner gave us back £20. We kept discussing walking out of the shop. The shop owner walked behind us and gave us £10 more back. Now we were charged correctly. But, never a good pleasant deal, just saying.
