A superb and beautiful hotel. The rooms were beautiful as were the furnishings throughout , food delicious and service very good. Highly recommend. Went there with my cycling friends who thought the same!

Excellent location, views over Pitlochry but just a short walk into the main street.

Had dinner here it was fabulous. Lovely setting, nice lounge couldn't fault a thing Next time we'll stay overnight.

Absolutely gorgeous property. We had a lovely balcony room with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast and dinner were both quite good. Parking was a little tough because we arrived late in the evening and spots were taken by people eating at the restaurant. Location was perfect with just a short walk to the main part of town. I saw other reviews complaining about the walk, which I don?t understand because it was quite lovely and brief. Will stay again if we come back!

This would definitely be a five star from us in the past, however we are a little concerned now that the hotel has been taken over by a larger group of hotels.
We have been coming here for over ten years, and the hotel and owners have always made our stay very special. They were a tough act to follow. We were a little concerned knowing they were planning to leave, so on our most recent visit enquired as to what the current situation was. The staff are all the same and so is the chef, so thats good, but there were quite a few little things missing that we had noticed. In addition, on one evening a course was not available ( even though the hotel was quiet ) plus three different wine choices were unavailable. This never happened with the previous owners.
Sadly, when a group take over a hotel, it loses the personal touch, and we are concerned the bean counters will change it a bit more over the coming months.
We will keep an eye on here for updates and other comments before considering our next visit, but sincerely hope it stays unique.

Just returned from 2 nights here and it was absolutely incredible. Such a lovely place to stay. The staff were so friendly, helpful & welcoming. The room (a suite) was the most beautiful room I?ve ever stayed in with stunning views. The food was exceptional & amazing knowledgeable staff. It was faultless. Would give it 10 stars if I could!

We really liked staying at Knockendarroch. The hotel is located in a gorgeous, historical building on top a hill, offering great views of the Pitlochry area. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. There plenty of parking on the premises.
The hotel offers great breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and there was a lot of options to pick from. We also had our dinners at the hotel restaurant as well. The dinner was delicious as well. Each day, there is a different dinner menu (appetizer, main and dessert). We tried several items. We really liked venison, lamb and pork roulette.
Pitlochry and the area offer a lot of great place to explore. Other further away sights, Balmoral, Perth or St Andrews, are easily reachable on a day trip.

Lovely hotel with great location in Pitlochry. Centrally located so it?s easy to get into town or up to the mountains to hike. Restaurant was wonderful and breakfast was also great. I would stay here again for sure.
