I was frantically trying to get a replacement part or new sander to complete a DIY project. Failed online via many sites , so resorted to the old fashioned phonecall. Called my local Wickes and a very helpful lady checked their system and confirmed that they had them in stock but not on display but to ask at the desk and someone would get it from stock. I called in-store and was lucky to get the same cheery lady who again checked her system to show me the item to confirm it met with my requirements. It was exactly correct and she then ran, yes ran upstairs to the stockroom. On her return she explained that she couldn't locate it so enlisted another member of staff to assist , a few minutes later she was back with exactly what I required. Excellent customer service, one very happy customer. Thanks

Absolutely terrible Wickes, dark, smelly, filthy store, disgusting how unsanitary it was, bird droppings on everything, a public health hazard and should be closed immediately in my opinion. Never seen anything like it, appalling.

The usual for large store, items in wrong shelve so wrong size in wrong place, always check the actual box or you'll have a return journey costing you more, might as well went to B Q , sort Ur shelves Wick's.

If I could leave no stars i would, Click and collected an item at the Perth store. Made the 48 mile round trip to collect the item to get there and they picked the wrong item. After 20-30 minutes trying to find the right item I get a lame excuse. 'sorry but the item was reduced and put at the front of the store and it must of not been scanned'. No reimbursement for fuel and the waste of my whole morning.

Buying materials for a campervan conversion so back and fore to here quite a bit. Good range of materials and both sheet and planed timber is all in good condition. Prices are competitive. The measures they have in place for social distancing are excellent ... Limited number in shop at any one time, clearly marked one way system and patient helpful staff.Good job Wickes in Perth?

This place looks absolutely horrendous compared to the new buildings it?s surrounded with. To make it even worse, they have these mega bright spotlights turned on every single night, which are turned into upright positions instead of pointing down like they should. They are blinding every single driver which creates a dangerous situation for everyone.

Extremely good buying a tonne of topsoil for garden makeover. We loaded it on a borrowed flatbed truck and the staff were very efficient. Nice polite staff.

Wickes has not fixed a problem with their installation of our kitchen 1 year ago, despite my persistent attempts to get them to. Now they claim the specific issue is out of warranty so they won't help.Entirely ridiculous.Maybe this post will get Wickes to act like a proper grown-up company.

Awful service, the staff don't communicate with each other and are very unhelpful. The store is also not very well laid out for covid 19 with no sanitizer and arrows are hard to follow.
