It's an old hotel repurposed by Travelodge at minimal cost. Rather battered and needs some tlc.However, super clean, and very convenient for the city centre - 5 mins walk across the bridge. Not particularly cheap, but since it's dog friendly it works for us.

Great location, a 10 minute walk to a few eating places.
10 minute drive to the bowling green where my wife was playing in a Visually Impared bowls competition.
Room was big, it may have been a disabled room, we've stayed in smaller rooms and paid 4 times what we paid here.
The tub chairs in the room were a bit uncomfortable if you were sitting in them for a while, but we don't spend a lot of time in a hotel room, so that wasn't a problem.
Staff were great, very helpful.
It's all you need for a few nights away.

This is not a five star hotel by any means but is clean, well placed in the city and cheap. Perfect for a nights sleep between adventures.

Not suitable for families, elderly or disabled. Rooms are old, problem with insects getting into room due to the lights on the building. No screens to stop them coming in. Adjoining the hotel is an empty building. Whole place needs a clean. Location ideal but too many other places to stay rather than this one.

Needs refurbishment badly, wasnt aware no bar or restaurant, so an ice machine would be an asset. Reception pleasant, especially Michael. Stayed four days, didnt need room serviced till third.....towels replaced and rubbish removed, but beds not made up, id left turned down to air! Accessibility not good, steps at both entrances.

Clean ,but Not very comfortable (bed). Old decor. The young guy at the reception wasn't very polite. Good location, however there is no mobile data service. I have unlimited data and had to pay for hotel's WiFi as the data on my phone wasn't available in this location . Should be much cheaper for what it offers.

Room spotlessly clean and spacious, good linen and towels. 10 minutes walk to city centre for restaurants. On a busy road so traffic noise until 2am. No frills budget hotel for convenient overnight stay.

Basic but clean and got everything you need. Location is the best and especially if you're taking a dog because there's a beautiful park across the road.
