Saturday 15 Feb, I went to store to see about a hose pipe was having difficulty looking buy the young lady at reception was being helpful. But there was pressure of the guy with the curly mullet that was clearly in rush to close up for the night was more bothered about leaving than customer service shot door was locked before I even left the shop. He was looking over the young lady with arms crossed clocking time and pressure watching as we were trying to look online for the item. Never felt that rushed in shop before get out so someone can get out the building. Lights were off before I was even in that car that was parked right outside the door.

Went in today to look for a replacement G9 halogen oven bulb. Unfortunately they now only stock LED versions, but Phil who served me was incredibly helpful and looked up a couple of online sources for me. Excellent customer service.

We went in to buy a Mira shower 9KW that we saw they had in stock, the manager on duty attended to us we showed him what we were looking for he put the bill through we paid then he handed the box over
(He was pretty cold unhelpful and completely uninterested is being polite)
When he hands the box over it was a 10.8 KW
what we had asked for was the 9 KW
when asking him he put his hands up in the air and said it was my purchase and had nothing to do with him lol
Very unfriendly and definitely should not be managing anything apart from his bad attitude towards customers.

Ordered some gloves & boots in store, assistant brought through some gloves that looked absolutely nothing like the ones in the picture on the website, the cheapest nastiest looking things I?ve ever had being described as gloves to me, then insisted that the only pair they had that did look like the ones I wanted unsurprisingly were more than double the price, always check your items before leaving the store

Usual fairly good Screwfix shopping experience- but don't want to register or give my email for the occasional purchase - don't want/need the app either.Getting fed up with every shop/service wanting me to register or download an app - totally unnecessary.
