This place is a gem. We had the set price lunch menu and all three courses were exceptional especially the lambs liver which was cooked t perfection.

On a flying visit to Perth I realised I was practically next door to this highly regarded restaurant, so I booked in and was looking forward to it. The building is lovely?low ceilings, spiral staircase?very atmospheric, and the staff were very pleasant as well, Particularly the young girl who was serving my table. A couple of drawbacks?no WiFi? Not a huge issue, but with zero signal, it suddenly becomes an issue. Strangely, only wine is served?.no cocktails to start, no beers, no other spirits?.a very limited drinks offering. As its game season, I thought I?d try the pheasant to start. The dish itself worked well, though the pheasant was completely overcooked and tough?.very disappointing. Sticking with game I opted for the partridge. A pleasant enough dish, cooked better, but not amazing. Cheese selection was good. I was advised the head chef was off that night, but spoiling a dish by overcooking it isn?t good on any night. I?d give this place a go again, but it could do with improvement,

First time in the restaurant today. The food was fantastic, there?s plentry of love in this cooking. I have to mention the service, Nicole made us feel feel so welcome. Already looking forward to returning.

Great atmosphere here. Food was very good, especially the duck. The service was fantastic, there were some parties in for Christmas so the server made a point of asking us to choose food options before the parties ordered so we didn?t have to wait a long time, which I though was great attention. Staff were friendly and happy to chat to us, gave us some recommendations for after we left.
