Staff very friendly, especially Ainhoa serving in the bar, she was chatty and very helpful. Reception staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was fine, although, a lot of food not labelled, not 100% sure what some stuff was. Had 2 evening meals in restaurant, both very nice, again, staff very friendly. The bar is a lovely area to sit and have a drink. The rooms are a bit tired and old fashioned, could do with a complete refurbishment. Parking arrangements not entirely clear. More information when booking would be helpful.Feel overall prices a little on the high side but a pleasant enough stay except for some idiot who smoked in Thier room and set fire alarm off at 5.30am.

Service = wonderful. Rooms = dire! Had a one night business stay. Check in was fast and friendly. I was shocked when entering my bedroom. Shabby & depressing. Threadbare carpet. In dire need of a refurb. Brand damaging to Mercure. I imagine if it?s busy, then there would be noise issues as the door and walls seemed thin. Single glazed window also, so could hear passers by.
It was however perfectly clean and the bed was pretty comfy. Bath in the bathroom a bonus & instant hot water. Great location in centre of Perth, 5 mins walk to the train. Enjoyed my breakfast.
All the staff I encountered were wonderful! Friendly and helpful. A special mention to Diana G who is an absolute credit to the place. Friendly, welcoming, & absolutely charming. Helped to make my stay pleasant.
Mercure - spend some (serious) money here and you?ll have a great place!

Rooms are a bit tired but very clean, comfortable and spacious. The dinning room is large, food good and the staff were great, specifically Ainhoa and Bharath.

Location is very convenient in centre of town, rooms are nice for the most part but some could use with being refurbished. staff are excellent and very friendly especially Kerri, Diana Bharath, Ainhoa was lovely too

Travelling for work and find myself up in Perth evey few weeks. I will be returning.
The staff are very helpful and friendly, a special shout out to Kerri who surpassed my expectations and able to handle my extra upcomming requests with ease.
The rooms and some bar furniture need updating as a bit worn and the only reason for 4 star review.
Shower had plenty of hot water and pressure. Rooms clean good bed, very comfortable and everything else I need from a room. Great location and only a short walk from the station. Service top notch.. thanks again Kerri

Honestly this is a wonderful hotel from the outside and reception area and bar is very smart and impressive. Staff(cleaners, bar staff and reception) are first class. Our room however was very dated and really needs modernising. (Dirty marks on the wall, enamel faded off the bath, cracked tiles in the purple bathroom and seriously squeaky floorboards above us). A lift would have been useful too.Bed was super comfy though. Enjoyed our stay however, just needs a bit of work.
