The worst place you could go
Wife was after a new phone, was given a price. £250 discount and £150 off a black phone. Women entered on computer, which was buffering so she cancelled and started again which lost the £250 off voucher and no black phone so lost the £150 off so price went up. Over a hour in the shop to walk out without a phone, service was atrocious. I went in to speak to a manager, to be told the black phone was out off stock, it wasn't out of stock at the start. When I said my wife had been in over a hour, the manager replied we have customers that are in longer than an hour. Currys think they are the only shop on the street so can treat customers any way they want. Customer service is definitely dead at currys.
Go to an independent retailer same advice, and they really appreciate your business

Will never ever buy anything from curry?s again.went yesterday to buy a tv and the salesman was talking to us so super fast I couldn?t make out a work he was saying. When asked to slow down his speech he continued to speak super fast. When I complained at the desk, they were arrogant and said they wouldn?t tell the salesman to slow down. Absolutely disgusted with their lack of respect for the customer.

Aldo saves the day again, after standing about for 15-20min watching staff standing about chatting to each other. Aldo who had just started his shift approached us straight away and got a sale of £600+. Had I not clocked him I would have walked out and purchased it from AO. Absolutely top tier service from Aldo who has now helped me make informed decisions on numerous occasions. Credit to him. Thanks Jordan

I wanted an under the counter fridge and an oven. Walked into the store looked around, was asked if I wanted help, was given help, decided on both items, paid in-store, delivered next day. 8 mean what more can you ask for.

I?ve never felt so unwelcome and unwanted like this anywhere before I?m not sure they want people to walk in through those doors, there is more staff than customers but good luck getting anyone?s attention. I felt that they carry an attitude a bad one at that I couldn?t wait to leave the store and take my hard earned money elsewhere.

I attended to collect an online purchase. I gave the order number, showed my purchase email, my address, showed my bank card with details thereon, and confirmed a pin number sent to my mobile registered on my account. Then the staff member asked for photo ID, which I admit I didn't have with me but showed a photo of my driving license from my phone. Then the staff member proceeded to lecture me about not having photo ID with me and for future reference bla bla bla....
I get I forgot my photo ID, but what a long, drawn-out process where I demonstrated enough to prove my identity finished off with an unnecessary lecture by a staff member in front of other customers.
He was completely arrogant, but if your going to speak to customers this way, then they will not come back. And a message to the staff member 'for future refence' try and at least crack a smile and develope a personality. It wouldn't harm!
