I was selling my phones today, when the guy was checking the phones he has given me a price, after couple of hours I received the phone call from him stating that he will have to charge me for wall plugs even when I said that I never have received wall plugs when I have bought the phones, they are just looking for an excuse not to pay the full amount that was agreed.

Purchased and sold a lot of items at CEX previously, attempted to bring in 2 WD Blue hard drives for a trade in and the store attendant had an issue formatting the drives, I took them home, reformatted them with 0 issues, and came back with the attendant having the same issue. The issue appears to be with their test bench (very possibly a permissions issue according to the error) so I can't blame him for that, but the unnecessarily condescending snippy attitude could definitely be worked on.

Terrible place. Bought earbuds with apparently faulty battery. Tried to return, however the staff after investigation refused to accept the return and offered me to sell it back for insanely low price instead because they didn?t found any problems. Went to another store where staff accepted the return without a single problem as they found that I was completely correct about the faulty battery.

If I could put NO STARS I would, absolutely unbelievable attitude I have gotten from buying one of there products and not realising it was damaged until I put it on, been told I done the damage when I should know if I did or not, the product was under warranty and they have said they cannot do anything or refund me as it's my FAULT when it clearly isn't. Customer service is awful blaming the customers for everything never takin responsibility them selves! Attitude towards customers is actually vile. Definitely not be going back I suggest ANYONE WHO BUYS FROM CEX DO NOT AS THEY WONT REFUND YOU EVEN IF THE PRODUCT HAS WARRANTY.

Absolute scam of a place wouldn't replace item under warranty(it was a pre owned item that broke within a day it was my fault apparently)
