We spent 3 nights in the smallest hotel room I've ever been in. It was a misery, my husband and I hated having to stay there. We asked for a change, but we're told they were full. This was in the cottages behind the hotel. I wrote to our tour operator and suggested they never book those rooms again. The rest of the property was very nice and the location was fantastic.Service & food were good.Rooms: Room size in cottage was awful - you either had to be in the bathroom or in bed - no room for anything else.

This hotel is now full to the brim with immigrants paid for by us, the tax payers. Thousands of pounds per week to pay for foreigners who shouldn't be here when we have homeless people on our streets. Disgusting sell outs. Do not stay here.

Never again when booking for special occasion and meal as mentioned with booking. Arrived there's no bar or restaurant . Arrive in bedroom it was unmade unclean from last guests gave another room wallpaper coming off ceiling room dingy very poor standards in room and shower room was needing a good scrub make over . The other room booked was very run down old fashioned not fresh feeling carpets worn out The corridors and stair case was very dirty the hotel so tierd run down old fashioned 60s. and unclean . Hotel rates definitely not worth it Booked in and booked out within 15 mins went to another hotel such a sad distressing start to a special weekend away no ? rating for this hotel ??.

Traveling for business. The only good thing in this hotel is the staff which is really nice and polite.The hotel is really old fashioned ('70s-80s) and it gives you the idea of an abandoned place.The bed was awful. The mattress was veery old having curves and the pillows and the quilt really stiff and heavy. The same applies for the floor of the room which gives you a discusting appearance More over, the bathroom was cold and the ceiling was ready to fall! Avoid staying in that hotel.

booked this hotel for special occasions when doing booking to hotel personally mentioned special event and would like to book a table and have a bottle of prosecco that's not a problem he was told booked for 3 days arrived there. No restaurant no bar available went to my room it was a tip not cleaned from previous people was put into another room dark and from 60s paper hanging from ceiling room had two heaters bathroom was dirty in such a small shower cubicle carpets worn if you look at website the rooms are not NOT THE SAME HOTEL ROOMS . the corridors and stairs very unclean unkept unclean I wouldn't call it a hotel atall did not stay unbooked and went else where never again

Old and rundown hotel and needs a complete overhaul. No hot water in room and shower cold. Room was cold, however, a heater was provided thank goodness. Room on main road so noisy when cars passing and imagine in summer much worse. Feel sorry for the staff having to deal with numerous complaints. Asking for oatmilk I now realise was way beyond what could be dealt with. On the plus side, staff were lovely, hotel, across the road from the station and breakfast was better than I expected considering the hotel.

Staff really friendly, bed nice and comfortable and room clean. But massively outdated, creaky floors 80s decor, paint pealing on bathroom ceiling etcDisappointing to find out no breakfast available after making a non refundable booking and not before, no dining at all. But overall an acceptable stay.Bit pricey for condition.

Absolutely horrific!! Don?t stay here!! Mouldy rooms full of hair! Decor from the 1970s!! Long hairs throughout the bathroom!! Bar and restaurant closed! No breakfast!! Tempted to sleep in the car! It?s cleaner

Really disappointing visit. Both the bar and restaurant are closed. Would have been nice to have had a call to notify before arrival.Advertised leisure facilities although are open as a guest to the hotel they?re off limits.Room itself is tired with the carpet covered in bits.TV on the wall barely hanging on.I booked this hotel as a business traveller so I could do some work in the on-site bar, enjoy a meal and have a swim to de-stres.Would not recommend

Was a quick stop in due to Costa Coffee been closed and Royal Hotel at Perth Train Station.Service was to be desired. Were only offered Americano/Tea option as didn't have anything else. Also no food. When sever arrived with hot tea/cups, was almost on top of us,Tea tasted and smelt damp. And paid requested to pay before even poured the tea out.Wouldn't hurry back if honest. Hopefully new staff takeover and improve service and overall intererior.

on our way home from a trip in the north of Scotland we booked this hotel for overnight stay 29/10/21 paid £96, having booked with best western before we thought good quality hotel, how wrong could we be . Run down would be a compliment, old chipped furniture, door at the bathroom that would not close, the frame round the bath was falling apart, damp patch on the ceiling, broken overhead light and the window that opened right out if it was not one storey up you could walked straight out into the road. We sent a email of complaint and received on back ask for booking conformation and payment details which we did since then no reply, sent another email at the end of the year still no reply. will never stay at a best western or recommend one to any one. poor customer communication

No chef at present so no food. Rooms in need of updating. Floorboards very creaky. New owners taking over after Xmas so hopefully they will make the improvements. Staff however are amazing.

Hotel decor good do with updating, but the staff were fantastic, they were always so attendive, nothing was too much trouble.
