Bought a sheet of plywood today which I needed cut into various sizes and was helped by the older Dave and what a fantastic guy, very friendly, helpful but most of all thoroughly professional in what he did. This gentleman is a credit to the company.

New kitchen fitted £23000.00
Oven and Microwave not even screwed into position. Extraction above hob not fitted properly, causing severe vibration throughout our home. Two screws holding steel ducting in place, which was not even put up properly, and could have, due to the vibration, come down on top of us at any time.
The fitter who was sent out to do the installation by B&Q Perth, refused to come out and put things right, so we had to call out an engineer using the manufacturers warranty.
We were told that if the faults found were due to installation causes, we will have to pay for his call out.
The guy wrote a list of faults and corner cutting, and said he could not put the parts back up.
The cause of the vibration is the fact that the Extraction system requires a 6 inch diameter extraction hose to the outside of the house. The fitter attached it to a 4 inch diameter extraction hose.
Although my wife and I have been quiet and understanding, this guy has refused to come back to our house.
If you are getting a new kitchen from B&Q, Perth, check who the fitter is, ask if they have had problems with him in the recent past. I will put his name up, once I receive a copy of the engineers report from today. Please be careful, and be sure to get exactly what you pay for.
I would like to finish by saying that the staff at B&Q Perth have been brilliant, helpful and supportive ? for which I am thankful and very grateful.

Delightful DIY shopping experience whether your actually buying or simply looking for ideas for your next project. It's the staff on the floor who elevate this store. To a person, they are personable, they smile and some are very competent when dealing with actual DIY questions!
