The customer service and after sales care with Arnold Clark Perth is absolutely shocking and disgusting, they don't even deserve half a star.I bought my car from this company a little over 9 months ago and have had nothing serious issues with it. The first issue I had with it was a bad engine misfire. This was due to coolant leaking into the spark plugs causing a misfire. They agreed to fix the issue under warranty but two weeks later the same problem happened again. I called them up and told them about the problem and they said all four coil packs would need replacing to which would be at a cost to myself. I had to get this fixed myself costing me £200, which totally fixed the problem.Nine months goes by and the car started to develop a knocking noise, called them back, was told they would have a look at it and let me know if it was safe to drive. Took it to them the next morning and the service advisor said "we can't check it over there's no diagnostic time left, we would have to do an investigation which will cost £166 at a cost to myself." Took it to an independent garage to have it checked over, they reported excess play on outer tie rod and slight play on the inner tie rod plus the front sub frame and both front arms is completely rotted away and will fail it's MOT, making the car unsafe to drive.I again went to the branch and spoke to the general manager to which he said " prove to me we sold you the car in that state." He was so unhelpful.Now I am left with a £10,000 car I can't drive due to the safety issues. This has caused me so much stress and put me in a very difficult position with my work which is 17 miles away from home.The whole experience I have received from Arnold Clark Perth is completely disgusting and uncalled for causing me to lose all trust in them. Now I have to chase buses to get to work while my car sits outside doing nothing.I will definitely not be buying a car from Arnold Clark again. Just wish I had looked at their reviews before I committed myself to buying a car from them.

Gary Keir at Arnold Clark Perth just sold me a pre reg car, which it turns out wasn't a pre reg at all and in fact has had 2 previous owners. Also sent the V5 to the wrong address and doesn't seem bothered about getting me an amended one. No follow up or after sales call despite one being promised. Asked me to lie on the follow up questionnaire twice. Had to chase the refund I was due. Buy with care. Terrible company.

Bought a new car. The whole process was easy and seamless. I got a good trade-in price and had a good idea of what car I would like. The salesperson Victor took time to get me the right car. I even got the car the same day. I went in to hand in the V5 and spare key for my old car today, and I got a valet, which wasn't done yesterday because it was late. The dashboard was in Km per hour, so I got that changed easily, too. Nothing is too much trouble.

Absolutely appalling customer service. If I could leave less than 1 star it still would be too much. We dealt with Aberdeen branch who we are still waiting for them to tell us the car we were interested in was available to test drive. We then went to Perth. Test drove it. Ordered the car and was basically blackmailed into paying money two weeks before collection. When we said no we received an apology from the manager. Then the car was ?lost?. In transit. The manager said he found it after a week and a half and would call when he had it in Perth. Not heard from him. I don?t think they want to sell us a car. Shambolic worst car dealership we have ever dealt with.
