Amazing brioche french toast with bacon for brunch. Rohaise and Kate were lovely waitresses.

A great hotel full of character, and perfect for a stay in the Scottish borders.
Definitely recommended

The Park appears to be turning into a party hotel. They were playing loud music during Saturday 12 July 2025 which was audible two streets closer to the Tweed. They did not answer the reception phone, and when asked in person to turn down the music the member of staff blamed the fact that it was a private event for the loud music. She also behaved as though she was doing us a favour by asking the DJ to turn the music down. To their credit, the volume was turned down, but the fact that the Park's staff think that a private event means that music volume can be as high as guests please at 23:30 is concerning.

I meet lots of friends here for coffee. It is very handy if you are driving as there is a car park. Great for brunch or lunch. Really nice on a sunny day to sit outside.

Rooms are nice and comfy, staff are friendly and helpfull.
Breakfast a bit disappointing, could do with a bit more thought and possibly re-organising.
All in all another enjoyable stay at the Park

My sister and I went for a meal at the Park Hotel and it was so nice that I wanted to post a review.
The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The disabled access was spot on with enough room to manoeuvre around the building without fear of bumping into other tables. The whole of the downstairs rooms are spacious and airy with room to park a disability scooter next to a table and still have plenty of space around you.
The staff were absolutely lovely and so attentive, polite and friendly.
The food was really lovely with a great selection of vegetarian and a vegan option too.
Thank you so much for such a pleasant evening . 10 out of 10.

The hotel is in an excellent position in peebles town, the food and service are really good. Staff are brilliant. This is a must visit on a sunny day as the garden is south facing and has lots of tables.
You order at the bar.

Staff are really nice and attentive. Bek and Brodie in the restaurant couldn?t do more for us, and really made our experience better.
Laura accommodated our every need and really made us feel welcome.
Cocktails were lovely, a really nice spot to come for a drink and a bite in peebles.

We spent 4 lovely nights at this hotel with a wonderful group of staff in every area including the big sister Hydro hotel up the hill nearby. We ate in the bar one evening having delicious soup starters and burgers with drinks for a reasonable £50+. The breakfast was buffet style with served hot full Scottish or vegetarian equivalent. Both were great quality and cooked to perfection.
There is an inhouse bakery, which we had to sample, and the cakes were great. We saw amazing looking sausage rolls but didn't get round to trying them. Next time!
We used the pool, spa, gym and outdoor tennis facilities for free at the Peebles Hydro, paying £10 pp extra for our kids to join us for a Mother's Day celebration.
We had one significant issue during our stay which we have gone into more detail at the end and the reason we have not given the hotel a 5-star review. Our allocated room was above the main kitchen and on speaking to the hotel they dealt with it appropriately with some compensation.
Peebles is a lovely wee town with great restaurants (and one not - check the reviews first) shops, cafes and plenty of walks all the River Tweed our through the Neidpath Tunnel & Viaduct.
We highly recommend both the town and The Park Hotel for a relaxing weekend or holiday.
Beware of Rooms 75 & 76... we paid a nightly fee for a 'feature' upgrade of our room, on entering it we became aware of a loud 'generator' noise. While sorting the safe in the room a member of staff informed us that it would go off later in the day. It was the extraction for the cookers in the hotel kitchen below us. The following morning we were awoken around 7:30am by the same noise, staff talking and the thud of a 'cold store door'. We spoke to the Operation Manager, who was new to the position, and she was obviously aware of the issue and had been trying to do something about it. She compensated us as we didn't want the hassle of moving rooms.

Just left this hotel after a lovely weekend away. The main reason for 5 star review is the attentive staff who couldn't be more helpful. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfy. Nice breakfast. Highly recommend.
