Reinstated my faith in having a Full Breakfast, after a previous experience (elsewhere) turned me off them. Get a pot of tea, it lasts you an age, but let it stew before you enjoy it. Would of missed this great place as there's little signage to shout it's praises, hopefully folk will see this and give it a go. Enjoy!

An absolute wonderful spot for good food and service. Excellent atmosphere and most welcoming. Felt like we were in someones?s kitchen chatting over a pot of tea. A very quaint place to be from the hustle and bustle of High Street.

My go-to spot every time I can!
Amazing people, great soups, delicious homemade cakes, and even homemade jams! Yummy!Everything is served with a smile. A true Peebles gem ?

Well worth the wait. A wee hidden gem that we stumbled across whilst visiting Peebles, waited a while but they were busy so that's okay and it was well worth the wait! The interior is lovely and tidy & the outside garden area is great on a warm sunny day. I recommend the Club Sourdough and a nice ice latte :) will visit again if we come back to Peebles.

I was in Peebles a run on my motorbike and popped in here for a bite of lunch.
I had roast pepper and Gouda soup, brown sourdough toasties with coronation chicken, and a latte. Each one was absolutely lovely and was a case of my eyes being bigger than my stomach.
Staff were friendly and efficient.
Toilet was spotlessly clean.
I couldn't fault the place and will definitely use it if ever back in Peebles.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to The Oven Door in Peebles! I had the Coconut and Passion fruit Cake which was divine! My husband had a lovely cheese scone. This is a lovely quaint tea room, staff so friendly and helpful who also welcomed our large dog, Johnny in with us. The gorgeous cakes/scones we were told were baked by the mum and daughter who own/run the business. Everything was scrumptious and we will visit again!

Delicious food, great value.
We stopped in here for a lunch with our toddler. It was spot on. Highly recommend leaving with a loaf of homemade rye sourdough, the best ever!

My husband and I visited Peebles yesterday and came across this coffee shop. The service was first class. We had scones with cream and jam which were really tasty and the selection of coffees available, were brilliant. Reasonable prices and really friendly staff.

The cafe itself is inviting and clean with fresh flowers but the coffee was so weak and the bacon roll had one piece of bacon which didn?t fill the roll. On a positive note the cheese scone was great although they did forget to serve it and I had to remind them. My husband has finished eating by the time I got the scone. I would understand if they were busy but there was only one other table in when we ordered.

Popped in for lunch with my parents and it was a fab choice. With a warm atmosphere, nice food and the odd dog too, you can?t go wrong.
The staff were brilliant and attentive despite the Oven Door being extremely busy and run off their feet. If you?re looking for a coffee and bite give the Oven Door a try.

A wee hidden gem, the spongiest fluffiest waffles I've ever had. Staff friendly.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 'proper' toastie and scone today. Home made jam delicious and coffees piping hot. Delightful wee tearoom with very attentive staff. Totally recommended.
