Excellent service. Highly recommended. Great pricing too. Comprehensive eye test from Robert who patiently answered all my questions. And outstanding customer service from Ryan. Couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. All in all the best eyecare service I've ever received. And I remember going to the same premises over 30 years ago when they became an opticians initially (think it was a sweet shop before that?). Leaves Boots, Specsavers and others in their dust. Go, you'll not regret your decision.

I had a real eye-opener (pun intended!) yesterday when I got something stuck in my eye. I rushed into the opticians, a family-run business with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were fantastic - they calmed me down and got me seen by the optician right away.The optician was brilliant. He examined my eye carefully, explained everything he was doing, and managed to remove the foreign object painlessly.I can't thank the team at enough. They truly care about their patients and it shows. If you're looking for an optician who will put you at ease and provide excellent care, I highly recommend them!

Me my Daughter and my wife go here we always done walks in the area and we're tried of our local Dunfermline opticians so the service from high street opticians (peebles)was outstanding from the moment we walked through the door about 2 years ago since then within the family all had 2 pairs each and was in today to order new ones for my work and new sunglasses can't praise this company nothing is too much trouble and great choices and pricesWould certainly highly recommendThem

Great service and a friendly atmosphere. My prescriptions hadn't changed much from my last checkup that was done elsewhere so they allowed me to compare my current prescription with a slightly adjusted one, looking across the street, with no pressure to change. Highly recommended.

Popped in, to have a repair conducted on my glasses and walk away with 2 brand new pairs!I have a high prescription, I?m used to being disappointed with my lens thickness however the team at High Street Opticians did an exceptional job and I?m delighted! What?s slightly more impressive is that frames and lenses were turned round in LESS than a week!Exceptional service and exceptional value is rare but these guys deliver on both fronts!I highly recommend High Street Opticians!!! Support this local business they are exceptional & they deserve it!

Just wanted to say what great service I received from the team here. I had two disasters with both pairs of my glasses in a short period of time-1 dropped & scratched lens and the other dropped & cracked frame. The team were able to replace the scratched lens whilst I waited, and the frame on the other pair replaced on warranty in a couple of days! Fantastic friendly & efficient service. Top Marks! :-)

I used High Street Opticians for the first time in March and purchased new varifocals. I found the service efficient, competitively priced and friendly. You were welcomed as a person and not just treated as another customer, as I have experienced at large national opticians.In June I decided to get new reading glasses for computer work, so called in by chance on passing. I was able to choose frames from an extensive stock and later phoned in the distance I work from the computer screen, so they could use my prescription to dispense glasses of the correct focal length. Just 24 hours later I received a phone call to advise me my glasses were ready for collection.I am using them now and am delighted. All concerned are to be commended for their friendly and efficient service ? which is also very reasonably priced.
