“I visited here twice last week (30th June and 2nd July). The first visit I found 4 shirts I liked in the sale and I was Havering whether to buy all 4, only for a member of staff to advise I could try on the shirts, provided I hand her any I didn't like. Transpired all 4 were good, so I bought them - happy customer.On my visit on 2nd July, myself and my missus bought a toy for her niece from a very helpful/friendly woman in the toy section.I then went back to the gents clothing section only to find a jacket I liked. The friendly sales assistant advised me I could try it on. I ended up buying the jacket and we both spoke to the sales assistant for a couple of minutes. Very good service and very friendly staff. The shop caters for my style of clothing and I will definitely be back again.Highly recommended for friendly staff and a vast array of items (albeit some items are very expensive, but it's supply and demand - plus the business will have overheads).”

“Great friendly wee local charity shop which I have used for years. Good range of books, was a godsend over Covid period when library was closed. Staff always helpful and lovely. Peebles has quite a few elderly and vulnerable folk, so sensible advice on covid prevention still applied here as in most other local shops. Wearing a mask not obligatory, but many people choose to as respect and reassurance for others at risk, and for the volunteers who work in shop. Great wee place for a browse anyway.”
