Brilliant place, tucked away inside the building. Not the easiest to find, but worth hunting for. We really enjoyed our lunch, in the dog friendly cafe. The food was delicious and they had a great selection

It was a sunny day so we sat outside with our dogs. The menu had lots of choices and was very reasonably priced. Ordered toasties and arrived fairly quickly with lovely fresh salad and delicious coleslaw. Would definitely come back here again.

Shame that 5 months ago someone already mentioned some of my concerns. You get tasty but not good value for price here. Cakes were all made with dairy (cow's milk), no option for people with food intolerance/allergies, etc. Prices were not shown next to them either. Even the tea was expensive and only brown sugar was available, no healthier options like honey e.g.
Dogs running around everywhere, allowed even in the cafe without a lead. Dogs are not clean animals and also, smell. I decided to sit outside to keep my distance and get some fresh air, luckily, the weather was good enough.
The lift to the disabled toilet with baby changing facilities was out of order and no sign as to how you could get there otherwise. The normal toilets were hard to find, well hidden in the back, very small and inconvenient.
Finally, the worst thing: the children's play area was located in between the cafe and the toilets, so people needed to walk over the carpet (!) in their dirty shoes (millions of germs are on shoe soles, especially in a park where dogs pee and poo everywhere), where little children crawl and play. Very thoughtless and unhygienic. Absolutely outrageous.

Nice food, good service and a beautiful location. Daughter didn?t enjoy her nuggets due to the weird tasting tomato sauce sachets. Baked potato was tasty.
Atmosphere is quite relaxed except for the weird faces staring down at you inside (daughter did not like them lol)

The cafe it's self is really good , but I do have concerns about the play area for children inside the cafe , sockets with no safety devices, red hot radiators not covered , fairy lights and plugs which children can pull .it was spotless but you must put in safety devices asap .

A nice cafe in the heart of the country park. However, its way way over priced, dearer than Starbucks. Has no prices next to cakes etc, which would have helped a lot, to decide not to buy Dogs are also allowed into the eating area, which is disgusting having over peoples dogs begging for food, should be kept outside. I like dogs but never in food serving place's, that's unhygienic and dog hair everywhere

We had our boys 3rd birthday party here and it was excellent, beyond our expectations tbh.You get the whole soft play cafe area to yourselves, we had about 8 kids plus parents and babies and it was roomy. The service was second to none, the girls were so attentive and helpful.We paid a little extra for the food and it was so worth it, delicious, plentiful and great quality.We brought out own balloons and some decor but it wasn't really required. Overall, a super fun and chilled out space for everyone, which is saying something for a toddler birthday party!Afterwards we burned off the sugar high with running around in the beautiful Vogrie park.Thank you again.

Dry scone, worst tasting scones ever just crumbled. Won't be back in a hurry. Noisy and dirty, only 1 person serving. Very expensive.

Ordered sandwiches and toasties. Got a huge, well filled sandwich, with crisps, salad and coleslaw. Very tasty and great value for money. A real asset to Vogrie Country Park. Highly recommend.

Called in after a walk at around 1.40pm -greeted frostily and informed they would be closing at 2pm so please order something that?s done quickly - ok coffee and a toastie and a cake - coffee served in plastic cup and was lukewarm at best - toastie and salad came in takeaway plastic dish. Unfortunately the salad had a large stone in it. When we took it back to the counter one member of staff seemed apologetic but another more or less accused us of planting it in the salad saying it was impossible to have been there. We then insisted that something be done which was a partial refund - probably to get us out so they could leave - while we were seated there was rapid cleaning going on around us. Food standard not great especially for the price and clearly a food hygiene issue. Just avoid is my advice and some staff clearly need some customer service training in this establishment.
