Went a week ago with family. Felt it was like a school dinner hall. We were seated on low seating which is fine if you're having a coffee but too low to eat from a plate. Food was very nice and it was fresh. Coffee was also hot. A wee bit pricey but we did enjoy what we had

We had two cappuccinos and a bacon roll and a roll and sausage totalling over £20!! The coffee was poor and the sausages were nothing special at all. I use Baynes the Bakers from time to time and their coffee is better and their roll and sausage every bit as good for under a fiver. Fair enough you don?t get a seat but this establishment is charging over double the price. I won?t be back.

£8 for a sandwich!!!! 2 slices of bread and a filling!!!. All the prices are disgraceful. People who pay the prices here must have more money than sense.

Main reason for one stars is the price versus portion size and drinks prices. The food although nice is expensive for what you get. £12 for a baked potato which to be slightly fair was a decent size but still £12 for a baked potato is steep. But it gets worse, I ordered a toastie £8 what came was a handful of crisps and salad and a toastie made using one slice of bread a few scraps of bacon and apple and cheese, that's a rip off, never have I seen anywhere a toastie using one slice of bread. Cans of juice are £3, a Robinsons fruit drink is also £3 I have paid £1.50 elsewhere, and small bottle of water £.240 rip off completely. The staff were good a s setting was nice, but that's the only positives. To their reply other businesses also faced rising costs but they don't rip people off with drinks prices either. What you did was take advantage of the rising costs and turn it into greed. And yes the toastie was an open toastie but doesn't mean it should be as expensive as it was. Had open toasties elsewhere which were much better in quality and half the price. This place was much better when it first opened. Now it's terrible in every aspect apart from the nice scenery but that's not enough to endure the greed.

My second visit to this lovely café, the staff are all friendly and welcoming, the food is very good. On my first visit they were due to close very soon but still provided us with a coffee.

Nice place with lovely view. Dogs allowed outside only. It was rather cold & very breezy. Food was very nice. A little shelter outside would have been nice especially if it had been wet. I stopped to eat & use the facilities. Travelling on my own it is sometimes awkward to leave my dog in the car( too hot) & I don't leave him tied up outside. Otherwise a very nice establishment.

On menu, full scottish breakfast to soup and sandwiches. Then on to great scones and cakes!
