Service from staff is usually good, however recently everytime I visit there are more and more issues with orders, specifically to do with how drinks are being made. Having previously worked in this environment, you can unfortunately tell that proper recipes are not being followed, which do not appear to be mistakes but instead laziness to cut corners and save time.
People pay a lot of money for Starbucks products, and the ignorance of staff by not following simple procedures is incredibly disrespectful to customers by wasting their time and money. This is also sadly not isolated to this store but across other stores.
Definitely not all staff but seems to be a more of gamble each visit on whether your drink is drinkable or not.

I ordered 2 drinks mine was a coconut milk mocha with normal whipped cream to take away. Was pit in a sit in cup, so I mentioned it was take away. The girl took the coffee and poured it from the sit in cup to the take away cup, I've asked for it to be made again she wasn't happy about it but had the cheek to make another drink while I waited for her to make my drink again. Then just put the cup on the counter never says my name or anything just a bad experience. She never wanted to be there and that's fine but don't ruin my day!

On my visit 29 June 2025. I ordered my drinks and was asked if it was OK for a paper cup which I wasn't. It seemed like the staff were pushing paper cups to save washing up. I waited for my order, and my first drink was in a paper cup. I stated that it should be in a ceramic cup. When the drink was remade it was the wrong drink and had to be remade again. The music was blaring in the premises, and I could hardly hear myself think. Possibly consider customers who want a quiet coffee and that their order is heard correctly. This used to be a good franchise. However, I will be avoiding it in the future.

I have been visiting the Linwood branch for a few months. I was very surprised to read other negative reviews.The service has always been quick even when the cafe is busy. The staff are very friendly and efficient.
Brach is closed temporarily now for renovation.

Dirty tables, we were there 3 hours no one cleared our table. 4 staff on and it was quiet! Previous cups not cleared. My friend cleared them up! Waited for approx 10 mins to be served to get 2 hot chocolates! Service was appalling. As are the prices. Ignored by ignorant staff. We were here last night. Flies everywhere. Disgusting.

Poor girl behind the counter was left racing around whilst the other "Batistas" were chatting away as if nobody else existed. Out of all the Starbucks in Renfrewshire this is my least favourite......no care is taken in making the coffee and if they make you a latte or a cappuccino...they both come out the same m. The Johnstone branch and Renfrew Road Branch should be praised......service is always good and coffees made properly. The new Port Glasgow Branch is a disaster in the making.....Coffee is not being made properly there at all.
