I had an issue at a filling station in Lonend paisley post code Pa11su. At 0800 on 2/825. I started filling the car noticed pump going slow and making a groaning spluttering noise. The customer on adjacent pump also commented on this. Anyway the nozzle never stopped and fuel spluttered out all over ground and on my clothes and over my newly ceramic coated car. And customer on other side said I?m not putting anymore in mine in case happens to me. We both complained the pump should be closed down to David the staff member on duty. He said it?s not my fault I?ll inform the manager on Monday and said he wasn?t a pump engineer shocking reply and attitude. Anyway he gave me managers name which is Debbie Sloan in which he promised he?d tell her to call me on Monday but I have my reservations because of his attitude I provided my name and email and contact number and he promised I?d get contacted. I also checked the pumps a couple of hours later as I live near and use this station a lot I was surprised to see the pumps were still in use after this health and safety issue with petrol all over ground and pumps faulty. I also noticed the pumps to the right were out of order. Can someone please look into this. I?ll attach photos of receipt and petrol on ground and over car. And also the other customers car. I contacted shell but they said they only supply the fuel.and while the petrol was all over the ground and me there was no attempt to seclude area or help in anyway. This could have been a more serious outcome due to his defensive arrogant attitude. There?s no way this behaviour and attitude towards the publics health and safety can be excused absolutely shocking as myself and the other customer experienced. Re your answer shell I have tried and contacted chat but they fobbed me off saying lonend station is nothing to do with shell. And as for Debbie Sloan the manager of the station has never contacted me in any way regarding this matter. It speaks for itself the way it?s been swept under the carpet and not giving a damn about their duties regarding health and safety and problems with her arrogant staff. I have contacted shell twice but they don?t want to know either as they said the station is not owned or run by them and then just stopped the chat.hopefully this updated review will force a response a week later I?ll update soon.update nearly 3 weeks later now still no contact from Debbie Sloan as she posted on her review about defending the mis understandings she?s certainly not contacted me with this issue as David stated he was handing her my email and contact number nearly 3 weeks ago

As the manager of this store I feel I need to defend some of the clear misunderstandings in these reviews.
The manager (myself) is female, not an angry wee man sitting in the back, this may have been another Shell but not ours, at Lonend, Paisley.
The price of fuel on the sign always matches the price on the pumps, however, V-power fuel is 20p dearer than regular fuel. Our diesel has not been 1.61 for a very long time.
In reply to the review 1 day ago about the black tea, We do not sell tea.
We are a small team that pride ourselves on our customer service and cleanliness of our store and I feel it unfair to have these reviews linked to our store when they must relate to another site.
If any customer has a complaint about Shell Lonend, I would be happy to discuss this and aim to put right any issues they may have with this store.

Extremely bad experience in this place this morning the way I was spoken to by the so called manager was shocking horrible wee man sits in the back doing nothing all day will be avoiding this place as much as possible

Don't trust this shell!! The price of diesel is 147.7, and when you pick up the gun to fill, the price shows 161.7. A shameful act of fraud.

Normally a very good shop there, but it seems to get robbed every four-six months and turns up closed when you need it most.I hope the staff are ok again.
