I have no idea where to start first! When we arrived at Motel Air the receptionist took so long to actually serve us then turns around and says our room has been ?damaged? no other rooms were apparently available yet there was one car in the car park. This was around 6pm and no one bothered to call us in advance to warn us. The receptionist advised us to go to another hotel in the city, i refused to go as we have a early flight to catch today hence why I booked Motel Air as it was close by the airport. We were told to go to Scotia hotel, when we arrived our room wasn?t made up so waited a while for that. When the kind gentleman showed us our room he was still coming in and out with supplies. The room was a not up to hygiene standards! Pubic hairs everywhere and I mean everywhere.. I had to walk about in my shoes as it was covering my socks!! The walls under the desk were covered in filth and didn?t look like it?s been dusted in a very long time. We got absolutely no sleep due to the fact of feeling so disgusting. We both had freezing showers in the morning as there was no hot water.. not acceptable and should not be charged the full amount. I have messaged them twice while being on holiday and we haven?t received any response. Terrible service and experience! will never be returning to any of the hotels again.

They don't give you rates or availability on the internet, no matter what date you try for months in advance. When you call they claim the place must be booked out for months ahead and just end the call. Given my experience and the other reviews it sounds like it may be a money laundring place and only pretends to be a regular motel. Too bad. Could be a convenient location.

Disgusted that my 18 yr old son arrived today with his pal only to be told you had no rooms even though it was pre booked. There was no phone call or messages to cancel beforehand so now they are left trying to find and pay for accommodation for tonight after travelling a fair distance into Glasgow ?

DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE. We booked a room here to stay the night before catching a flight and when we arrived the man behind the desk said that our booking had been cancelled and we should have received an email - which we didn't. The excuse was that there was damage to our room so we couldn't stay, however, there was another couple in the reception and they had just been told the exact same thing. The man behind the desk was agency staff so had no clue what was going on or how to sort the situation. There were also a lot of young men coming in and out of the hotel and I believe that it is used to house people by the council so they don't honour the room bookings. There is a travel lodge a few minutes walk from the property, so we booked a room there instead. I have asked booking.com to remove this property from their site.

On arrival told they had tried to call us to say out booking was canceled due to electrical faults. No missed calls and as glasgow was sold out. This was the reason we had booked this motel. Absolutely disgraceful. Please beware if you book in to this place. Ps I had read reviews and even called to double check out booking was OK and they said it was all fine. We sat in carpark for an hour trying to find a place to stay. Not worth even booking with this place. Ever..

Like many other reviewers on here, we arrived, with our confirmed booking, via Booking.com, to be told, without fore warning, there was no room available and given an address across town ( no hotel name) to go to. Initially I was told it was because I?d requested a twin room so I said I?d accept a double but was told they were all booked. I used to live in this town so I knew that the place he was sending us to was used by the council to house the homeless and others with problems so I refused and asked to be refunded. This was refused. We stood our ground, reminded them of their contract and eventually a room was miraculously found to be available! The room was clean and modern and the only complaint would be that there was no lift to third floor. I?m not sure what is going on re all the cancelled bookings as there was only one vehicle in the car park apart from ours, the hotel seemed virtually empty and when I checked on booking.com it was still taking bookings for that night, despite the hotel being supposedly full! Booking.com need to ditch this place and I would not recommend anyone to book Motel Air, Paisley. I only wish I?d read the reviews earlier.

I stayed here on a business trip, in May 2022, I stayed for 2 nights, staff were rude and not bothered. The morning that I left I had left a very sentimental Teddy bear as such, sounds silly but all the same something that was very important. I rang the same day, once back in blyth, Northumberland maybe 4 hours away, and explained that I had left the Teddy bear in the room, I gave room floor, number and was told that it had been found and would be kept in lost and found for me, I rang 3 weeks later just to check it was still being held, and explained again I would be there as soon as possible to pick the item up and was assured it was still held there for me, three weeks later I had a family member fly in from Australia to Glasgow Airport, so I gave her the details to get to motel air, I contacted the motel, to let them know that I was sending someone, where I was greeted by some awful receptionist, telling me that nothing was held in lost and found, and when asked if he would check the dates of my stay to make sure, claimed that I was never there and had never stayed, when I asked to speak with the manager, her said he was the manager and what he was saying was tough luck! He then put rhe phone down on me! (As I had someone on the way to collect) Rude, incompetent and disgraceful! There is no manager, no higher staff, just the awful people you deal with in reception!

Staircase smells of gas , they say theres no gas with fire service confirming this, but the owners should do something about that funky smell.

Nette, vrij nieuwe kamer redelijk schoongemaakt op 15 minuten lopen vanaf het vliegveld, locatie is erg druk dus een raam openen is geen optie. Geen airco dus erg warm.Het ontbijt is om te janken, enkel in plastic voorverpakte goedkope supermarkt troep, deels over de datum.

My booking (that I made September 8th) was apparently cancelled by the hotel the morning of my stay 16th Nov. I was given no message, phone call, email or anything about this cancellation. So arrived to check in at half 7pm and was told they had no other rooms and to go find somewhere else to stay that night and that they weren't going to help me. With no help at all from the staff and I was basically just left there to find somewhere else last minute by myself in the dark. I was told would get my refund in after midnight (which am still waiting on). Surprise surprise.

Rooms were lovely and modern and clean..staff were helpful and polite.. Continental breakfast was from 7am to 10 am included in the price of the room.. was ok..toast ,jam,marmalade, tea,coffee 3 different types out of machine, fresh orange, water,and other juices...ceral,milk,butter,fruit salad, porridge, croissants,and muffins,..small breakfast area...only down side there was no lift...so if your disabled or got Mobility issues you would struggle to get up the stairs to some of the rooms..but luckily the night porter/security man helped us get cases up to our room...and on the morning when we had to check out by 11am staff helped us down the stairs they were very friendly and smiling..they even phoned us a taxi...its not to far from the airport so handy if you need a overnight stay or arrive early hours off a flight.. it looked OK from the outside but the rooms made up for the appearance all modern...hairdryer, TV, kettle with tea,coffee and cups,fresh towels and computer points for charging up...car park outside...definitely go back if I was in the area again....

Absolutely shocking customer service. This was booked months in advance as somewhere to stop after making it home from a late flight from our holiday. They seem to think it?s perfectly fine and ?enough? notice to cancel our room literally 1 hour before we are about to board our flight home. Apparently this is enough time to frantically find another place to stay when it is impossible to book and phone hotels when you?re on another country and the phone charges are sky high. Totally unreliable and unprofessional. ??

They try and force you to pay a £10 deposit for your room key. This is part of their business plan as they hope that in the morning that you forget and are in a rush to get to the airport, so you just put your key on the quick check out box. It is a disgrace as this is not mentioned anywhere online.They use agency staff on the reception, who are very unprofessional. It is a great shame because the place has a lot of potential - the rooms are decent enough. With that said, our room was light at night as the hotel has outdoor lights that are placed right outside your window. In addition, the stairwell smells like a gas leak - which doesn't fill you with confidence. I don't recommend this place as you can't trust them. Stay with a more reputable brand, you may regret it otherwise.Message to the owners: please consider the values in which you do business. At the moment it seems more so that your business model is based on anything but the customer experience. I would highly recommend that you address this.
