Shopping with my husband and returning some items today in the Linwood store, I was served by a gentleman around late thirties about 12pm .
Fantastic customer service, very chatty, eye contact and made you feel that he really did want you to be happy with the service.
Nothing was any bother for him and the transaction was completed quickly and efficiently.
It is just a pity that I couldnt speak to the manager to let them know, that they had an amazing member of their team.
I did call their headoffice and I hope they pass on to the store to give this member of staff the praise they deserve.

Shopped here the other day. Was all good until I got to the till. Wanted to do self check out and the guy was very in my face. Asked me if it was cash or card and when I answered, he practically marched me to a self check out till and tried to get me to sign up for a Matalan card by clicking it on my till. When I was scanning my stuff he was hovering around and then came up and opened my bag to look in it. This is Matalan new thing force everyone to give their email! Super uncomfortable, self check out is supposed to relaxed and efficient.
