When we went the staff were happy to answer any questions we had regarding the different sofas. They did not push to make a sale, they were happy to let you wonder around the showroom.

Do you want to buy a sofa? Did you see one on the DFS website that you like? then this is the place to go to see it in real life. If you're in luck then they might have a sale on.
Staff well versed in their products and can point you to similar sofas that might interest you and show you the difference in fabrics.

I'm very dissatisfied with their service. I strongly advise not to buy furniture from here. The quality of the furniture is very poor. They delivered broken furniture to us, and when we complained, after countless calls and multiple visits to the Paisley store, they told us we would have to pay extra to exchange it. This makes no sense at all. They wouldn't even let us speak. The staff is extremely rude and disrespectful. They only care about making the sale and act friendly at first, but once there's an issue, their behavior changes completely. They try to silence you and don't allow you to speak. If I could give them zero stars, I definitely would. Zero stars is still too much for them.

Their customer service is very poor. I spent £2,000 on a sofa, but they sent me a broken and old one. When I asked for a replacement, they said I had to pay extra. They are not responsible for their actions. The staff are rude and disrespectful, and they don't care about the customers' opinions. They just want to take your money and, once you're in the store, they won't let you leave without spending more. They push unnecessary items on you.
The sofa that arrived had broken legs and torn arms. It was old and in very poor condition. They didn't care at all about the quality. They told me I could use the sofa as it was, even though it was completely unsafe and ready to break.

Great staff, loads of choice, quality furniture

Although the sales staff are reasonable, I got unacceptable service I received today during the recent delivery of my DFS sofa.
Your delivery team refused to wear shoe coverings despite my new carpet having only been laid the day before and I aim to use for daily prayers also. I laid down a protective offcut to minimise damage, but even that was torn during the delivery.
Worse still, they caused three large scrapes to my freshly painted walls while manoeuvring the sofa ? and then took no ownership whatsoever, instead claiming the marks were ?already there.? The lack of care and blatant denial is completely unacceptable.
As it stands, I now have:
? A ripped carpet
? Damaged walls
? No apology or accountability
This experience has been appalling from start to finish, with zero respect shown for my home or basic customer care. I trusted DFS and your delivery service, and that trust has been severely damaged.
I expect an immediate investigation, a formal apology, and full compensation for the damage caused.
I look forward to your prompt response.

We went in to look at a new sofa and Saeed attended to us was very helpful and friendly. He ran through all the options with us and was very informative. We'd previously had a very bad experience at a different store and this was the complete opposite!!

Aye, not bad, a few nice sofas, tables and beds in there - some right stinkers too mind you, leather sofas that oooze of bachelor - you know the sort, pint holders and USB ports coming out of the arm. Anyways, they're also not short of sales staff ready to pounce and help; 'help' you make that sale that is... That said they're very helpful. Interest free credit too, if you're that way inclined. I'd prefer free cushions.

After leaving an excellent review re customer service as the salesperson was great and I understand this is not his fault! I ordered. 3 seater recliner and they said it would be a fairly quick delivery. They set a date then actually brought the date forward. My husband took the day off work at a busy time. We then organised our present suite to be uplifted the day before and then yes you guessed it DfS said they couldn?t deliver and it would be several days before they could. Fuming is an understatement. Looking at other reviews I see this is quite common. DfS get your act together as this is just NOT acceptable! ?

Customer service is shocking . Once they have their money you dont exist. I asked to return a suite after having to take unpaid leave after they messed me about with delivery and left me without anything to sit on fir 3day . Is this how you treat the elderly
